Manually upload a CSV file of your conversion data directly into Campaign Manager. You can download the CSV template, or you can find it in Campaign Manager.

Before you choose to use a CSV file for uploading data
A few things to keep in mind about manually uploading your data:
- This method is ideal for lower volumes of conversions that need to be sent less frequently.
- Data will need to be updated regularly using the CSV template. We recommend daily or weekly for the best results.
- Manual upload doesn’t require developer resources. You’ll download our CSV template and enter the required information.
- When filling out the CSV template, the way you format your data must be identical to the template.
- The currency used in the template must be the same as the ad account currency.
Upload your CSV file to Campaign Manager
To upload your CSV file to Campaign Manager:

Go to your ad account in Campaign Manager.

Click Measurement on the left menu, then click Conversion tracking.

Click the Create conversion button and select CSV conversion.

Create your conversion rule. Learn more about creating a conversion rule for a CSV conversion. Then click Next step.

Below Select the file to use as the conversion source, select Upload a CSV list.

Below Source name, give your list a name.

Click the Select file button and select your list.

Click Next step and follow the instructions to complete setting up your conversion. Learn more about setting up a CSV conversion.
You can replace your CSV document on your Conversion Tracking page in Campaign Manager. Filter the table by CSV data source, then click the conversion name. From here, review the conversion rules and click Next step. Then you can select Upload a CSV list and re-upload your new document.
After you upload your CSV file to Campaign Manager
After you’ve uploaded your CSV file to Campaign Manager:
- Confirm that you’ve set up your conversion in Campaign Manager. It can take up to 24 hours for the data to be available.
- If you’d like to optimize your campaign toward qualified leads, you can upload that data using a CSV document. We recommend sending at least five qualified leads every one to two weeks. Qualified leads data must be shared with LinkedIn within 30 days to be included in the optimization of the campaign.
