Campaign Manager notifications provide alerts about actions related to your ad campaigns, helping you stay informed and take timely actions to optimize your campaigns.
Types of notifications
You can turn on notifications for various campaign and ad alerts, including:
- You’ve received a lead from your Lead Gen Form.
- You’ve received a comment on your Sponsored Content ad.
- The status of your ad has changed and it’s not able to run.
- Your campaign has ended or is ending soon.
- Reminders to complete campaign setup.
You can choose to receive notifications directly in Campaign Manager or through email:
- Campaign Manager - View notifications directly within the platform by clicking the
Notifications icon in the upper-right corner of your ad account. You can also view recommendations and recommendation summary notifications in Campaign Manager to help you optimize your campaigns. - Email - Receive notifications at your preferred email address. You can also choose to receive notifications about the status of your Matched Audiences through email.
Notification settings
To customize your notification settings, you can:
- Turn notifications on and off for all your ad accounts.
- Turn notifications on or off for specific ad accounts.
- Change your email address for email notifications.
- Change how often you receive email notifications.
Each person controls which notifications they see or receive, so your notification settings won’t impact other people on the ad account.
User roles and permissions
To receive notifications, you must have the appropriate permissions on your ad account. All notifications are available for account and campaign managers, and some notifications are also available for creative managers.
Some notifications also require you to have permissions on your LinkedIn Page. For example, you’ll only be able to see notifications about comments on your Sponsored Content ads if you also have either super or content admin permission on the LinkedIn Page associated with your ad account.
