The February 23, 2026, updates to this notice clarified that when LinkedIn shares member data with Microsoft for its ads, Microsoft may show those ads anywhere, including outside of Microsoft’s services. We also now refer to “related companies,” among the partners who may provide personal data that we collect. 

The December 9, 2025, updates to this notice consisted solely of adding the words "and Account" to the heading for Section 2.8 of the notice, in order to bring greater transparency to members' data deletion rights. No other changes were made to our notice or to the underlying process by which our members may access or delete their data.
