Job Library targeting parameters and impressions

Last updated: 3 days ago

In addition to basic information, for certain paid job posts the LinkedIn Job Library shows additional information about targeting, impressions, and details about restricted job posts.

Targeting parameters

For paid job posts in the European Union, the LinkedIn Job Library shows the targeting parameters selected by the job poster when posting their job. Job posts are visible to all members and not targeted to the same extent as ads. The possible targeting parameters shown in the Job Library are:

  • Location - Indicates the job poster provided location for targeting.

  • Skill - Indicates the job poster selected skills for targeting.

Use of “includes” in the Job Library indicates the applicable targeting is inclusion targeting. Job posters are not able to apply exclusion targeting to job posts.

Estimated impressions

For paid job posts in the European Union, the LinkedIn Job Library also shows information regarding impressions for the job post, including the estimated total impressions and impression breakdown by country.

The metrics for impressions by country are rounded to the nearest percent. In cases where the percentage falls between 0 and 1, the Job Library displays the percentage as <1%.
