Update your billing currency for job posts

Ensure your billing currency is correct before making your first job post purchase. Follow these steps to update your billing currency during the job posting process or for future purchases.

Prerequisites

Before making your first job post purchase, be sure your currency is correct for the location you��re in. You can check what your currency is set to by going to Settings & Privacy and clicking Name, location, and industry.

To update your billing currency during the job posting process:

  1. Before clicking Promote job, exit the job posting flow by clicking on your profile picture.

  2. Click on your profile picture again and select Settings & Privacy

  3. Click on Name, location, and industry and change the location to the region that corresponds with the currency you want to choose.  

  4. Click Save.  

  5. To navigate back to your job, click the Jobs tab.  

  6. Click Manage job posts

  7. Under the Draft tab, select the job you were posting to promote it. 

To update your billing currency for future purchases:

  1. Click on your profile picture and select Settings & Privacy.  

  2. Click on Name, location, and industry and change the location to the region that corresponds with the currency you want to choose.  

  3. Navigate to the Admin Center and click on Purchases

  4. Click on Close billing account. You’ll confirm you have no open jobs, no unpaid invoices, and no remaining credits before you close your billing account.  

The next time you post a new job or edit a previously saved draft job, a new billing account will be created using the updated currency from your new profile location.
