Acquired LinkedIn Pages

Last updated: 2 years ago

As a LinkedIn Page super admin, you can manage your organization’s brand through an acquired Page.

While we won't delete the LinkedIn Page of an acquired organization, a super admin of Pages (parent and acquired) can request to add a notification to the Page of an acquired organization. The parent Page will automatically be listed as an affiliated Page on the acquired (child) Page.

Review the following information prior to submitting your request for an acquired banner and Page affiliation. The actions are irreversible.

  • The acquired banner Page will state (acquired organization) was acquired by (acquiring organization). To see what's new, visit (link to acquiring organization Page).
    • Members can still follow the acquired Page by navigating to the parent Page and click Follow from the Affiliated Pages pane on the right.
  • Jobs associated with the acquired Page can be made visible on the parent Page.
  • Employees associated with the acquired Page can be added to the employee total of the parent Page. The associated employee’s profile won’t be changed.

Here's a tip

It's not possible to migrate followers from the Page of an acquired organization to the acquiring organization’s Page.

By requesting an acquired banner and Page affiliation, you’re:

  • Verifying that you’re authorized to act on behalf of both Pages.
  • Authorizing LinkedIn to list the acquired Page as an affiliated Page of the parent Page.
  • Verifying that admins of both Pages are aware of the request.
  • Acknowledging that no changes to admins, followers, or analytics will be applied to either Page as result of the process.
  • Acknowledging that admins and followers will continue to be distinct between both Pages.
  • Acknowledging that an Affiliated pages module will appear on the acquired Page.

To request a Page acquisition and an acquired banner, please contact us with the following information:

  • Both Page URLs.
  • The date the company was acquired.
  • State if you want the acquired Page jobs visible on the parent Page.
  • State if you want the employees associated with the acquired Page to be added to the employee total of the parent Page.
