Add or remove your profile content from the featured section

Showcase important details from your profile by adding them to the Featured section or remove items you no longer want displayed. You may add an unlimited number of items to the featured section, however, only 400 items will be displayed.

Who can use this feature?

This feature is available only to Premium BusinessSales Navigator, and Recruiter subscribers. 

The Featured section appears at the top of your LinkedIn profile and helps highlight key information for profile viewers 

You can spotlight details from these profile sections: 

  • Experience 
  • Licenses & certifications 
  • Recommendations 
  • Courses 
  • Honors & Awards 
  • Skills 
  • Projects 
  • Education 

There’s no limit to how many items you can add. 

Before you start 

If you've never used the Featured section on LinkedIn, start by clicking Add profile section in your profile's introduction section. Then, choose the section you want to feature and follow the prompts to add it.

To pin profile content to your Featured section (if already added):

  1. Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.

  2. Click View Profile.

  3. Scroll down to the Featured section and click the Add icon on the right.

  4. Select Add content from profile from the dropdown.

  5. Select a profile section from the Feature content from profile pop-up window.

  6. Click on Feature to add the selected content to the featured section.

To remove profile content from your Featured section:

To remove your profile content from the Featured section, click  Edit in the Featured section and click  Remove from featured under the content you want to remove.

Expected result 

  • Added items appear in the Featured section at the top of your profile. 
  • Removed items no longer display in the Featured section.
