Verifying your email address keeps your LinkedIn account secure and ensures you can send messages, apply for jobs, and receive email notifications.
You’ll need to verify or confirm your email address if:

You created a new LinkedIn account.

You added a new email address to your LinkedIn account.

An email we sent couldn’t be delivered to you.
Before you begin
- Make sure you can receive emails from LinkedIn.
To verify or confirm your email address:

Click the
Me���icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown.

Click Sign in & security on the left pane.

Under the Account access section, click Email addresses.

If your email address isn't confirmed, you’ll see Send verification next to it, click it.

You’ll get the email with a link to confirm your email address.
To verify or confirm your email address:

Tap your profile photo.

Tap Settings.

Tap Sign in & security.

Troubleshooting

If you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folder.

If your email bounced again, add another valid email address and remove the email address that bounced.

If you only have one email address and it has bounced, you’ll have to verify your identity to regain access to your account.
