We’re all moving a mile a minute—which means we’re often going into some of our most high stakes work conversations (think performance review, big pitch, negotiation) cold. It’s no surprise we sometimes leave those conversations thinking, “yeah, that would have gone better if I practiced ahead of time.” But making time to practice is tough. Which is why I’m excited to launch new updates to AI-powered coaching in LinkedIn Learning that allow you to practice those high-stakes conversations in a safe, judgement-free space and receive instant feedback. I recently popped in on some of my LinkedIn colleagues (hi, Ben Hatch and Charlene Carr, MPA!) who showed me how they’re using this tool to level up the people skills we know matter more than ever. This is such a smart update, Jill. Practicing high-stakes conversations in a safe, feedback-driven space could be a real game-changer—especially for entrepreneurs and sales teams who face constant pressure to perform on the spot. At GENSLY Agency, we work with many business owners who often struggle to pitch confidently or handle objections in sales calls. We’re curious: Could these LinkedIn Learning tools be integrated into team training workflows, especially for small business teams or client-facing roles? Thanks for sharing this—it definitely opens new possibilities for coaching and performance support at scale.
If it is judgment free how do you know if you are doing it right, surely the idea behind practicing anything is to judge how well you are doing what needs to improve and how to improve it,
Nice! The video turned out awesome. Thanks for having me on to shoot it with you! Fun, easy day with a super cool product.
Dear Ryan Roslansky, I am reaching out as a last resort, having exhausted all available channels outlined in LinkedIn’s standard process for reporting inappropriate content (Case ID: 250516-014175). Despite formal escalation, no action has been taken against three scam accounts that are consistently posting fraudulent job openings using the name of my organization, Bosch, along with other reputed companies. A brief review of these posts clearly reveals they are part of a broader scam, exploiting well-known brand names to mislead job seekers and amass large followings. Given the seriousness of the issue and the lack of response so far, I respectfully request your personal intervention to help expedite a resolution and safeguard the trust of LinkedIn users. This is such a timely and much-needed innovation. In a world where soft skills often define professional success, having a safe space to practice, refine, and receive feedback is a game-changer. Most of us prepare for the technical side of conversations, but rarely get to rehearse the human part — the tone, empathy, and confidence. Excited to see how this AI-powered coaching can empower more professionals to show up prepared and poised when it matters most. 👏
First of all, great video! I’ve been trying out role play and it’s really useful. My favorite way to use it is to go to extremes: asking it to model out incredibly complicated or unreasonable conversations. It’s like maxing out — once I know the extremes, I’m less worried about the normal.
Love how beautifully this video shows the power of this tool. Major congrats to the whole team, was a joy working with you all to bring it to life this week!
So many of us walk into high-stakes conversations hoping we’ll show up at our best. But without a safe space to rehearse, we end up defaulting to nerves or autopilot. What you’ve built here isn’t just a tech update, it’s a real enabler of confidence. The ability to practice real-world scenarios like performance reviews or negotiations with AI feedback? That’s a game-changer. Especially for those of us who don’t always have a mentor or peer available to rehearse with. This lowers the barrier to growth and makes soft skills feel far more trainable. Thanks for sharing Jill Raines
So fun to see this live! Practicing the conversations that shape careers is such a powerful way to grow. So grateful to you and the team for bringing new ways to learn and upskill to life 🥳
