We're committed to supporting our customers and the communities we serve by delivering the reliable, safe and clean energy they count on every day. As data center development grows, we remain focused on protecting our customers by maintaining reliability and keeping bills as low as possible. As a regulated utility, we work with state regulators to ensure new large usage customers like data centers pay their own way. This includes paying for grid upgrades, infrastructure improvements, additional substations and the integration of renewable energy resources when needed. We're not alone in this effort. Whether packing resources for neighbors in need or cleaning up community spaces, our teams are committed to making an impact where it matters most. This National Volunteer Month, employees took part in more than 30 projects across our service areas, backed by several of the incredible employee resource groups who champion a culture of belonging and giving back each day. As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Xcel Energy Foundation, we’re carrying this good energy forward, continuing to invest in the wellbeing of the communities where we live, work and play.

As new data centers come online, we're prepared to support the increased energy demand, while maintaining reliable, affordable service for our existing customers. Through a recent proposal to the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, we're recommending that large load customers like data centers pay for the power infrastructure needed to serve them.
