Our WorldQuant Armenia team hosted Quant Day in Yerevan, bringing together a select group of talented students and alumni from mathematics, economics and computer science backgrounds. Throughout the event, attendees learned more about career opportunities at WorldQuant, including our open roles, internships and the BRAIN consultancy program. We also hosted an interactive research game on the BRAIN platform, giving participants a hands-on look at the kind of thinking and problem-solving that drive quantitative research. Quant Day was a great opportunity to connect with our local community and engage with emerging talent in Armenia. We are excited to continue building relationships and fostering connections with those interested in quantitative research and technology.

WorldQuant Chief Technology Officer David Rukshin recently joined Barclays’ inaugural CTO Forum for the panel “From Data to Alpha: The Operating Model for AI-Driven Investing,” alongside Matt Blye of King Street and Chris Beels, CFA of GoldenTree Asset Management, moderated by Sahana Athreya, Global Head of Data Science and Applied AI at Barclays Research. One key point from the discussion: in today’s environment, firms need to question everything — and build the right scaffolding and framework across their organizations so they can work tool-agnostically, adapt quickly and adopt new technologies with greater speed and consistency.

One of the main highlights of attending the Milken Institute Global Conference with my team was the time I got to spend with our partners and others across the industry to discuss what’s top of mind. One theme was mentioned again and again: AI. #MIGlobal

David Rukshin, our CTO, recently joined the Financial Technology Forum CTO Summit in Chicago, hosted by Institutional Investor, for a fireside chat with Lewis Knox on “AI Adoption: Innovation, Scale and the Human Edge.” The conversation explored how AI is reshaping innovation across organizations, where it is creating real impact, and how engineers and technologists are adapting as human judgment continues to evolve alongside new tools. One major takeaway: question old assumptions, embrace the tools and keep building.

A strong start to the Milken Institute’s Global Conference, with timely conversations around AI, markets, innovation and the future of work. One highlight so far: Igor Tulchinsky joining Jo Ling Kent, Almar Latour, Christoph Schweizer and Deanna Strable-Soethout for a panel on how AI is reimagining wealth and the workforce. During the discussion, Igor spoke about the importance of building strong infrastructure and trusted data systems to support AI at scale. He also emphasized that as AI advances, people will need to focus on areas where human judgment, creativity and adaptability remain essential — and that education must evolve to help build capabilities AI cannot easily replicate. Thanks to the Milken Institute for convening these important conversations. #MIGlobal
