Workera is the skills intelligence platform redefining how enterprises understand, develop, and mobilize talent.

About us

Workera is the leading skills intelligence platform that helps enterprises verify any skill, for any role, at any moment in the talent lifecycle. Today, most companies don’t have a clear view of what people can actually do, relying on incomplete or weak skills signals. When skills visibility is low, every talent decision gets harder: hiring is riskier, upskilling is harder to prove, and internal mobility slows down. Using AI-native assessments and a configurable skills ontology, Workera measures real capability across any skill domain your business cares about, so talent decisions are defensible and backed with data, not assumptions. Workera helps leaders move from uncertainty to action: Align - Turn business strategy into the skills your workforce needs Measure - Verify real capability through assessments and expert-backed scoring Action - Connect insight to action across hiring, learning, and mobility Track - Monitor growth and readiness over time across teams and roles Employees get clarity. Leaders turn insights into momentum. Executives gain confidence. Power every talent decision with verified skills data you can trust.

  • We know you want access to Ambient. Kian shares more details on the rollout. Cohorts are opening now, M-series Macs first, Intel and Windows following soon. And we're continuously adding more app integrations so Ambient can build a fuller picture of your skills, right in the flow of work. We are excited to hear what you think.

  • Today we’re introducing Ambient. Our founder, Kian Katanforoosh, on what it is and why it has to exist. You wear a watch that counts your steps. A ring that scores your sleep. An app that ranks your last run. Your career is the one place you agreed to fly blind. Ambient is the first always-on capability measurement agent. It reads what you can actually do from the flow of work itself. No test. No course. No interruption. The same way a wearable reads your heart rate. Join the waitlist, link in comments! • We're hosting a lunch & learn alongside Udemy Business and Carahsoft, bringing together public and private-sector workforce leaders for a practitioner-grounded conversation on measuring and closing the AI readiness gap. Jim Hemgen, who architected Booz Allen Hamilton's AI workforce capability program, will be there sharing what that looked like at scale. Real data from a real program, not a deck full of aspirational slides. If you're responsible for a federal or enterprise workforce, this one's for you. 📍 Carahsoft Conference & Collaboration Center, Reston, VA 📅 June 25 | 8:45am – 1:00pm 🔗 Link to register in comments.

  • What if you had an Oura Ring for your career? Today, we're introducing Ambient, the always-on coach for your professional growth. You rely on a ring that scores your sleep. A watch that flags an irregular heartbeat. A glucose monitor that nudges you after lunch. Your career is the one place you agreed to fly blind. Ambient learns from the natural flow of your work and turns that into a continuous understanding of how your capabilities evolve over time. Our CEO Kian Katanforoosh wrote about where this idea came from, a mentorship experience at Stanford that made him wonder: what if that kind of calibration could exist inside the work itself, not just in retrospect? Read it here → https://lnkd.in/gpbeGXHw The waitlist is open. Link in comments.

  • 85% of L&D leaders are confident in their workforce's AI skills. Only 11% of those individuals could accurately self-assess their own proficiency when verified. That's not a training problem. It's a measurement problem. Today, we released the AI Readiness Index Bundle, which replaces self-reported surveys and course completions with performance-based evidence across five organizational personas, from the frontline to the C-suite. Deploys immediately. Board-reportable dashboards in weeks. Schedule a demo to learn more → Link in comments #AIReadiness #WorkforceAI #LearningAndDevelopme

  • A CLO called this "a great read." After passing it around internally, we agree. There's a distinction most organizations miss when evaluating skills intelligence platforms. The question isn't whether a platform has a skills library. It's whether it infers, validates, or verifies. Inferred skills pull from job titles and resumes. A reasonable guess. Validated skills come from self-assessments and manager feedback. Someone's opinion. Verified skills are assessed directly. Proof of what someone can actually do. Most platforms stop at inference. Some reach validation. Few verify. With AI in every job function, the cost of building a workforce strategy based on a guess is too high. • Our CEO Kian Katanforoosh started with a simple question: how many people get mentored the way he was mentored by Andrew Ng? Not many. So he built Workera to change that math. First by co-creating the world's most completed AI course. Then by building Elo, an AI mentor that verifies what your people can actually do and closes the gaps that matter, at enterprise scale. Workera is building the gold standard for measuring human potential in the AI era. Read the full story in the comments. #AI #SkillsIntelligence #WorkforceDevelopment #Leadership
