⭐ New Partner Highlight ⭐ We’re proud to introduce Sunsar Maya—our first partner in Nepal and in this region of the world. ❤️ Through a $10,000 WE grant, Sunsar Maya is expanding its Women’s Literacy Program—supporting women with literacy, life skills, and vocational training to build confidence and financial independence. Through Nepali and English language lessons, numeracy training, and hands-on skills like tailoring, soap-making, and small-scale farming, women gain the tools to earn income, manage finances, and access affordable, nutritious food. By investing in education, practical skills, and opportunity, women are creating pathways to independence, strengthening their families, and building more resilient communities ✨ We’re honored to support these women as they grow, lead, and shape their futures. #womensempowerment #globalimpact #partnerhighlight #nepal

About us
Women's Empowerment International (WE), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in San Diego, CA, was founded with a mission to empower women with tools to work their way out of poverty, care for their families, and strengthen their communities. Since its inception, WE has provided $2.1 million in funding for programs that provide practical, holistic support centered around women’s economic empowerment in seven countries, including the U.S. (in San Diego County and Puerto Rico), Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, and Uganda. Focusing on the most under-resourced communities, WE enables women entrepreneurs to build their job, life, and health skills, obtain small business loans, and launch sustainable income-generating enterprises that serve their families, villages, and communities. Join us in the empowerment of women. Donate, attend an event, join a giving circle, volunteer—there are many ways to get involved and all help is welcome!

On this Giving Tuesday, as we reflect on the real change your support creates, we’d like to share Kenia’s story…❤️ What would you do if your family's well-being depended on leaving everything behind? Kenia created a different path. When Kenia's husband lost his job during the pandemic, he wanted to migrate to the U.S. to find new opportunities. The risks were enormous. Leaving their home behind would be devastating. But, staying in Honduras without income seemed impossible. Kenia proposed a different plan. With a small repayable loan, funded by a WE grant to Adelante Foundation, she launched a plant nursery. Within a few years, it became profitable and now employs others in her community. Thousands of women like Kenia lack access to formal lending institutions simply because they're women. Without support, more families will be forced to migrate and remain in poverty. But there's another way forward. Your gift helps women build thriving enterprises, provide for their children, and break the cycle of poverty through opportunity in their home countries. 🔗 Lift up a woman like Kenia today and make a donation: https://lnkd.in/eQBrGFDG #GivingTuesday #WomensEmpowerment #StrongerTogether #SupportWomen #EndPoverty #GiveBack #GlobalImpact #WomenEntrepreneurs #NonprofitLove
