We’re taking our testing capabilities on the road. 🛣️ Our team is in the early stages of modifying a 48-foot trailer into a fully mobile laboratory facility designed to travel nationwide in support of complex environmental and regulatory studies. This mobile laboratory trailer will include temperature regulated office space alongside dedicated fish holding systems and processing area tailored to support our field staff working in remote settings. 🧪 What began as an idea is now moving into construction, shaped by creative problem solving, thoughtful design, and the craftsmanship required to build a space that functions as both a workspace and a mobile laboratory. Once complete, this mobile laboratory trailer will support Impingement Technology Performance Optimization Studies at two power generation facilities, helping our clients evaluate and improve cooling water intake screening technologies that reduce impacts to aquatic life and support compliance with Clean Water Act Section 316(b) requirements. 🐟 To learn more about our work in fish protection and Impingement Technology Performance Optimization Studies, visit: https://lnkd.in/ee3wXwhZ

Verdantas was recently spotlighted in a Microsoft customer story focused on how our team is exploring Microsoft Copilot Studio to support how we work. The article highlights our #peoplefirst approach to technology, grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and practical application. It features a custom Copilot Studio solution designed to support internal workflows and knowledge access—helping our teams spend less time searching for information and more time applying their expertise where it matters most. A big shout out to our Enterprise Business Transformation Office team for their partnership and leadership in shaping and delivering this solution, and for continuously helping move innovation forward across our organization. For us, AI is not about replacing expertise, but about giving our people better tools to do their best work. We’re proud to see that mindset reflected in this story and excited about what thoughtful adoption can unlock next. AI is rapidly entering environmental remediation. How do we use it responsibly, defensibly, and in ways regulators will accept? At the 2026 NJ LSRPA - Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association Conference, Verdantas experts Michelle Bouwman, LSRP; Tim Negley; and Nicholas D. Rose, PE, will present a technical session on integrating artificial intelligence into environmental site assessment and remediation workflows. The presentation examines real-world AI applications across the project lifecycle, with a focus on data quality, ethical use, transparency, and professional judgment, supported by a case study grounded in current remediation practice. #EnvironmentalAI #SiteRemediation #Verdantas

🌟 Project Spotlight: Pajaro Estuary Restoration Project Restoring the Pajaro River Estuary means protecting more than a landscape. It means supporting the communities, agriculture, and ecosystems that depend on it. Verdantas’ Eco Engineering team is leading the Pajaro Estuary Restoration Project on behalf of the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County, working alongside Environmental Science Associates to develop a long‑term restoration and resilience plan for this complex coastal system. The effort focuses on reducing flood risk, improving water quality, restoring wetland habitat, and protecting freshwater resources and productive farmland as sea levels rise and storm impacts intensify. Community collaboration is central to the work, with landowners and agricultural partners helping shape solutions that balance environmental restoration with working lands. The result is a science‑driven, community‑informed plan designed to strengthen resilience today and into the future. 🔗 Learn more about the project: https://lnkd.in/eBzh6H_G #Verdantas #ProjectSpotlight #Engineering #WetlandRestoration #WaterResources #CommunityResilience #ClimateAdaptation

At this year’s Hydraulic Institute Annual Conference, our team was proud to contribute to the ongoing development of pump intake design standards. During the 9.6.6 committee meeting, Becca Hall presented results from a physical hydraulic model study examining straight-length requirements for butterfly valves and elbows. The discussion around how geometry and configuration influence flow conditions sparked great questions and meaningful dialogue. By pairing standards participation with physical modeling expertise, we help ensure guidance reflects real‑world performance. That insight supports more reliable designs and better project outcomes.
