Congratulations to our Vice President of Human Resources Amy Fleske for being selected to serve a two-year term on the United Way Worldwide (UWW) Human Resources Council. This council is one of six United Way Councils designed to convene senior leaders from across the network to share best practices, inform UWW strategy and collaborate on solutions that advance our collective work. United Way of Central Oklahoma's Community Investment subcommittees have begun their second meetings! This is when each subcommittee comes together to discuss what they discovered when reviewing each Partner Agency's annual allocations request package. The goal is to formulate any questions to the agencies prior to going on a site visit, so they have a deeper understanding of how donor dollars will be used in each United Way-funded program. United is the Way we invest in our community!

United is the Way to transformative discussions!
On January 29, Inasmuch Foundation and the Oklahoma City Community Foundation hosted a reception bringing together community leaders to discuss the future of mental health in Oklahoma City. The conversation centered on a comprehensive landscape assessment recently completed by Healthy Minds Policy Initiative with support from Inasmuch Foundation, City of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma City Community Foundation, and United Way of Central Oklahoma . Inasmuch Foundation Vice President of Programs Sarah Roberts kicked off the program while OCCF President & CEO Trisha Finnegan and Healthy Minds Policy Initiative President & CEO Zack Stoycoff led attendees through the report's key findings and what they mean for the future. With the assessment complete, dedicated working groups will now outline an implementation plan to address the city's most urgent mental health challenges. Inasmuch Foundation looks forward to partnering with city leaders, nonprofit providers, and philanthropic organizations to bring this work to life.
