Their focus is colorectal cancer, where delayed diagnosis is more common for marginalized and lower-income patients. Assistant Professor Anitha Gollamudi (Miner School of Computer & Information Sciences) and her UMass Lowell research team are developing a new framework that automatically isolates sensitive data in a computer’s secure hardware enclave to protect it from cyberattacks. 🚀👩🔬 Women and Girls in STEM More than 100 high school students from across the region spent the day exploring what’s possible in science, tech and engineering. Through lightning talks, hands-on lab tours, demos and research poster sessions led by University of Massachusetts Lowell faculty and student researchers, these students got a real look at STEM in action.
