The landscape of modern warfare is ever-changing, and the US Army is at the forefront of this transformation. We are strategically adapting our doctrine force-wide, integrating critical lessons from the use of uncrewed aircraft systems to enhance Soldier lethality and ensure a decisive edge on the battlefield. This initiative focuses on achieving 'drone dominance' by embedding new technologies and tactics at every level of the force. This modernization ensures our warfighters are the most prepared and best-equipped in the world. NOW GET OFF MY BUS 🗣️ 🗣️ 🗣️ For generations of Soldiers, those words have marked the beginning of a life-changing journey of growth, discipline, and purpose. Last week, as part of the U.S. Army Experience, student-athletes from across central Texas were given a glimpse into the world of Basic Combat Training, hosted by III Armored Corps at Fort Hood. Guided by the firm encouragement of former Drill Sergeants, students tackled demanding obstacle courses, pushed their physical and mental limits, and received a powerful lesson in teamwork. The event showcased the leadership, resilience, and collaborative spirit that the US Army instills. The day also featured a moving Oath of Enlistment ceremony, administered by Lt. Gen. Kevin D. Admiral, commanding general of III Armored Corps and Fort Hood. We had the honor of welcoming 53 new recruits who committed to serving their country. This experience not only tested their capabilities but also opened their eyes to the incredible opportunities for career development and personal growth within the U.S. Army. Gen. David Hodne, commanding general, U.S. Army Transformation and Training Command, delivered a powerful closing keynote at #AUSAGlobal, outlining a bold vision for how the US Army is adapting to the rapidly evolving character of war. In a world where the battlefield has become transparent, incremental change is no longer enough, “our challenge is to transform our Army at speed and scale to yield land power, a United States Army that can gain initiative for the entire joint force, and this land force initiative is critical to defeating adversaries,” Hodne said. To meet this challenge, the Army activated T2COM, a historic move consolidating force generation, development and design under one command. Hodne described T2COM as the “engine room of the Army,” designed to be agile, responsive, and innovative. T2COM is a deliberate reset, designed to close the gaps between vision and execution. Our mission is simple, “enable the Army to defeat all adversaries and adapt to the ever-changing character of war.” We are creating an agile framework that ensures readiness, valuing discipline, initiative, and disruption to overcome the drawback of past processes, and we will innovate with urgency. T2COM will deliver more lethal, agile, and future-ready formations, all of which strengthen the profession. It was a full house for the Warriors Corner panel, "Building Lethal Formations Through Drone Dominance" at #AUSAGlobal on Tuesday. A clear sign of interest and urgency around this topic, panel members discussed the evolving landscape of Unmanned Aerial Systems in modern warfare. Key takeaways included: ◾ Lessons from Ukraine are reshaping our understanding of the electromagnetic spectrum and the need for cost-effective counter-UAS solutions. ◾ The kill chain is being compressed from minutes to moments by pairing reconnaissance and loitering munitions at the tactical edge. ◾ There's a massive demand for affordable, scalable drones that can be treated like artillery rounds, enabling companies to defeat entire platoons with unmanned systems. ◾ The future requires a whole-of-nation approach, with deep partnership between the Army, industry, and academia to innovate and scale at the speed of relevance. The future of warfare is here, and it's being defined by our ability to sense, decide, and act faster than the enemy. The US Army is accelerating transformation to maintain an edge in a rapidly evolving operational environment. Keeping pace with increasingly capable adversaries requires a fundamental shift, demanding closer integration with our operational forces, institutional organizations, the acquisition enterprise and our vital industry partners. Forums like #AUSAGlobal are critical, creating space for Army Senior Leaders and industry executives to tackle key issues focusing on acquisition reform, data-driven decision-making, and robust partnerships improving our ability to deliver capabilities to Soldiers faster. Lt. Gen. Mac McCurry, commanding general, U.S. Army Futures and Concepts Command, and Hon. Brent Ingraham, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology, joined industry leaders to discuss how the Army is transforming its methods for identifying operational problems, communicating requirements, and collaborating with industry to accelerate the delivery of war-winning capabilities. Winning future conflicts requires us to shorten the distance between identifying a problem in the field and delivering the solution. #FromVisionToVictory | ASA(ALT)

During a panel discussion on the first day of the Association of the United States Army - AUSA's Global Force Symposium & Expo, commanders from U.S. Army Recruiting Command, U.S. Army Combined Arms Command, and U.S. Army Futures and Concepts Command discussed how their organizations generate the Army’s future force and how their missions operate as an integrated system under the U.S. Army Transformation and Training Command. The two-part panel, “Synchronizing the Army’s Generating Force,” focused on a critical reality: the Army’s ability to win future conflicts depends directly on how quickly our institution can adapt. Highlighting how operational feedback, emerging threats, and experimentation translate into institutional change across recruiting, training, doctrine, and force design to ensure how the Army remains prepared for the future fight. Here are the key takeaways from this new approach: 1️⃣ Operational Feedback Drives Modernization: Transformation in Contact ensures Soldier feedback shapes capability development 2️⃣ Portfolio Acquisition Executives (PAEs) Connect Requirements to Solutions: PAEs manage capability portfolios that accelerate prioritization and modernization decisions. 3️⃣ Industry Partnership is Essential: Army modernization requires collaboration with traditional defense companies, startups, and emerging technology firms.
