Most people have no idea every state has career centers that can help pay for career training. Tech. Data. Cybersecurity. Trades. Healthcare. Go to your local American Job Center and ask what grants or programs you qualify for. You might be one conversation away from changing your income.

Where practical data skills meet real-world application.
About us
ThinkData Solutions, Inc. is a woman- and minority-owned technology firm founded in 2011 by Daniel Bishop and Robin E. Hunt. We built ThinkData with a vision to merge our strengths in data, software development, and training to empower organizations with real, scalable solutions. We are a nimble team of creative problem-solvers who don’t just code—we create with intention. Every solution we build is rooted in solving a business problem and enabling our clients to do more with their data. From automating workflows and streamlining reporting to crafting entire custom applications, we work across a wide range of tools and platforms. We’re tool-agnostic and fluent in translating between business needs and technical implementation. Our development services focus on capturing quality data and building tools that make that data useful, accessible, and actionable. We partner closely with clients to design tools that don’t just work—but work the way they need them to. Because we know that tools are only as effective as the people using them, training is at the heart of what we do. Our corporate training programs are designed to build long-term capability by helping teams develop the skills to manage, analyze, and communicate with data. We offer live in-person or virtual training options and provide resource-rich materials for continued learning. Many of our clients rely on us not just to train—but to train on the exact software and systems we build. We help teams gain confidence in their data, their tools, and their decisions. Robin Hunt: Skills. That’s the constant. Titles change. Companies change. Technology changes. But skills travel. #InvestInYourself and #NeverStopLearning
-
Three to five years ago, a group of professionals walked into an intensive data analytics bootcamp with very different backgrounds, skill levels, and levels of confidence. Some had never worked with real datasets before. Some had never considered themselves “technical.” Some were simply trying to create a better opportunity for themselves and their families. Today, those same individuals are working successfully across #data, #operations, #businessintelligence, #engineering, #administration, #healthcare, and #leadership roles. Not because they memorized a tool. Because they learned how to learn. They learned how to push through messy datasets that didn’t already exist in a clean format. They learned how to ask better questions. They learned how to create structure from ambiguity. They learned persistence, problem-solving, and adaptability. And along the way, they each found their own version of what a career in data could become. That’s the part people often miss about #workforce development and technical training: The real outcome is not just the first job title. It’s the confidence and capability to continue growing long after the training ends. Watching these professionals build careers years later remains one of the strongest reminders that #practical skills training changes trajectories when people are given both challenge and support. — ThinkData

What do people really mean when they talk about “productivity gains” with AI? It means something that used to take hours can now take minutes. Robin shared an example with our Bootcamp students today. For years, she would spend 2–3 hours hand-crafting presentations after already doing the hard work: - Curating the talk - Structuring the content - Writing out the commentary - Organizing the flow and supporting points Only then would the process of building the visual presentation even begin. Today, her process looks different. She dictates her original content and ideas. She leverages AI to structure it into a formatted talk without changing her voice or message. Then she uses Copilot to generate a first-draft PowerPoint presentation from that content. What changed isn’t just speed. What changed is the ability to think the process differently. Instead of spending hours trying to create the first draft of the visuals, she can immediately begin evaluating quality, identifying gaps, improving flow, and refining the message. As she shared with the students: “When the first draft is already well put together, I can more quickly see the gaps and begin improving the work instead of spending all my time just trying to create slides.” That’s the real productivity gain. Not replacing thinking. Not replacing expertise. Creating leverage so expertise can move faster.

Just posted https://lnkd.in/gSKJX_9Z It’s an unpolished edit/demo Robin Hunt dislikes when we release these with bad audio. However - she shows info that we think people might be interested in seeing. If you’re curious about: • Microsoft Copilot in Word • AI-assisted editing and document cleanup • Track Changes + AI workflows • Prompting inside Office apps • Real-world AI productivity use cases …this is a great glimpse into where work is heading. 🎙️ Powered by ThinkData #MicrosoftCopilot #AIProductivity #MicrosoftWord #ArtificialIntelligence #ThinkData #Copilot #FutureOfWork #DocumentAutomation

We wonder how many of you have had Robin’s training in Microsoft Word? She’s traditionally known for #Excel and #data topics. If you got lucky, you got to have her teach you Microsoft Word from a data person‘s perspective and you’ve probably heard her talk about this typewriter. We can’t wait to see what her and Gini von Courter are working on next for Copilot in Office…
Just remember when you worry about what’s coming. This used to be the newest innovation.

People think #apprenticeship is only for enterprise companies. Guess what? We’re a #sponsor so that any company can have a data apprenticeship. This is because Robin Hunt and Daniel Bishop believe data skills are #craftlabor and a #skilledtrade. We have to have #intermediary apprenticeship sponsors like us to support all job roles. For really large organizations, building an internal apprenticeship program makes a ton of sense. We can support that effort, help with structure, and even share how to get programs registered if that’s the direction you want to go. Why? Because we are an #RTI (Related Technical Instruction). “At the end of the day, most organizations only send us one or two apprentices on average anyway. Let’s get the word out.” Robin Hunt So whether you’re a small business or a large enterprise, the benefits are still the same: • We are building a trusted talent pipeline • We train skills around your actual business needs • Reduce hiring risk through validated skills • Grow internal capability intentionally As a matter of fact, small businesses may have even more opportunity right now. #Funding is available, we encourage small businesses to apply. In many cases, organizations with fewer than 100 employees can qualify for additional funding support, which can make apprenticeship far more accessible than people realize. Mark Pretnar This isn’t just for enterprise organizations anymore. Companies of all sizes need data talent. Apprenticeship is one of the most practical ways to build it. Thank you to our apprenticeship companies, colleagues and friends for sharing the message. We build artificial intelligence and data skills in our workforce. Remember the workforce is more than one job role. Our program is a pathway to the right one… Alpha Resources Prosper Navigate Affordable Housing Partners Robins & Morton ¡HICA!
