If Snehamoy (Sneh) Mukherjee could travel back in time and whisper one piece of advice to his younger self, it would be a line by the great poet William Henry Davies, "What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare?" As a young engineer, Snehamoy was chasing the fast life, eager to learn and upskill along the way. Over the last 25 years, he gained expertise in analytics and engineering. His ability to identify, understand, articulate, and solve business problems for clients using the right technology made him stand out as the "human in the loop (of tech nerds)" much before LLMs came along. Today, as the Head of Healthcare Practice at MathCo, his journey stands as proof that focus and ambition matter. But while chasing success is important, he also feels that one should not forget to pause, rest, and enjoy the journey. As a leader, Snehamoy has understood a simple but profound truth: a leader is only as good as their team. The most rewarding part of leading, for him, is witnessing what he calls the multiplier effect, how a well-aligned team can produce results far beyond what any one individual could achieve alone. "Even while giving feedback as a leader, you have to do it with sincerity and share your thoughts like a friend would," shares Snehamoy. One of the most influential leadership lessons he holds close comes from Marshall Goldsmith: "What got you here won't get you there." It resonates deeply with his belief that the ability to learn, unlearn, and relearn is one of the most underrated skills for any aspiring leader. When asked about the pressures that come with being a leader, Snehamoy shared with a smile, "Let the pressure and stress age you like fine wine." Over time, he has come to see pressure not as an adversary, but as a quiet sculptor of resilience. Beyond the demands of work, Snehamoy recharges through reading. As an avid reader of novels and other books, he finds that stories, whether fictional or reflective, expand perspective and nurture creativity in ways that structured business thinking cannot. His advice to young engineers? "Stay hungry for knowledge, stay foolish and have fun, but most of all, stay sincere to your work." #MathCoLeaders #MathCo #OwnYourIntelligence

Last Saturday felt like reliving a part of our own childhood - classrooms filled with curiosity, excitement, and the simple joy of learning. Mathemagicians gathered to be a part of the inauguration of the Science and Computer Lab at a Government School in Sonnegenahalli. They spent meaningful time with the students, exploring, listening, and learning together. In association with Kritigya Trust, MathCo has sponsored this lab to open new doors of opportunity for the students. Our Mathemagicians spent the day engaging with them, sharing conversations, and experiencing the excitement of discovery firsthand. What stayed with us was the sparkle in their eyes and the happiness of trying something new, a reminder that small steps can have a lasting impact. #MathCo #CSRInitiative #STEMEducation #LeaveAMark #OwnYourIntelligence

From brute-force trials to hypothesis-driven R&D: How AI is changing the speed-to-market game This Engineers Week, Chandan Shetty, Research Associate at MathCo, breaks down how AI and advanced analytics are reshaping R&D for CPG and manufacturing leaders. The reality of materials R&D? It's slow, expensive, and complex, driven by manual iteration, redundant testing, and limited learning from historical experiments. MathCo's Materials Experimentation Intelligence platform changes that by: ▶️ Eliminating redundant material property measurements through correlation analysis ▶️ Simulating the impact of machine parameters before physical trials ▶️ Enabling data-backed exploration through a conversational AI assistant The results speak for themselves: ✅ 30%+ reduction in redundant testing ✅ ~50% fewer experimental combinations ✅ Up to 25% faster early-stage development cycles Watch how AI enables smarter experimentation, faster learning, and better decisions at scale. #EngineersWeek #AIinManufacturing #CPG #MathCo #OwnYourIntelligence

This Engineers Week, our Mathemagicians are pulling back the curtain on what engineering taught them beyond books and experiments. From staying cool when things get messy to the art of juggling a million tasks at once, it turns out engineering is mostly about finding the "calm" in the middle of the "chaos." “The art and science of asking questions is the source of all knowledge.” That’s not just a quote to Jayant Murali, it’s how you see him work every day. Jayant, AI Product Manager, joined MathCo in 2022 as a Senior Management Consultant, but his love for problem-solving goes much further back. “As a child, I loved puzzles and brain teasers, not fully realizing that what truly excited me was solving complex problems”, he shares. Over the years at MathCo, he moved from solving individual use cases to zooming out to understand the bigger picture. From management consulting, Jayant moved into MathCo’s solutioning team, where he worked closely on specific use cases and sharpened his technical depth. When MathCo began placing a strong focus on AI and product development, he knew this was where he wanted to be. He quickly pivoted to the GenAI team. “Was it a risky move? Yes. But was it a rewarding move? Absolutely!” shares Jayant. Today, his work sits at the intersection of enterprise AI platforms, orchestration, and ensuring AI doesn't just demo well but holds up when it meets real business complexity at scale. Jayant describes his MathCo journey, where efforts + learning agility = growth. “MathCo is an organisation that is growing exponentially and ensures you grow in your career as well”, he says. He believes that anyone navigating the AI space today should stop chasing model releases and getting overwhelmed by AI hype; rather, they should “try to understand what's powering systems under the hood”. “Build something; even a simple workflow will teach you more than hours of theory," says Jayant. #MathVoice #EngineersWeek #MathCo #OwnYourIntelligence
