  • The 2025 Goddard Systems All-Company Event (ACE) has concluded, but it won’t soon be forgotten! From colleague-led preschool lessons showing Wonder of Learning in action to a masquerade ball featuring fun—and even frightening—masks, #ACE2025 had it all. Most importantly, it provided an opportunity for GSL colleagues to spend time together deepening relationships, refining our focus, sharing new ideas and sharpening our Goddard edge, all in support of our franchisees, their teams and the families they serve. Giving back to our communities is an integral part of Goddard, and we were proud to support an incredible organization, Cards for Hospitalized Kids, that distributes uplifting, handmade cards to children in hospitals across the country. A simple card can brighten a child’s day and bring comfort during a difficult time. During the event, our team created more than 250 cards. We thank our colleagues for taking the time to join us in Philadelphia. Your presence made this event truly special, and your passion drives our shared success. We also thank four phenomenal franchisees— Mike & Megan Thompson and Marc & Colleen Zahirnyi—for helping us celebrate our award winners. And lastly, we thank the dozens of colleagues from across GSL for coordinating the event, and CREW (Culture, Recognition, Engagement @ Work) for organizing fun culture-building activities. We are all inspired to grow with Goddard and drive the system forward in 2025 and beyond! #GoddardFamily

  • Curiosity is at the heart of childhood learning. In this Scary Mommy article, our chief academic officer, Dr. Lauren Loquasto, shares how our schools nurture children’s innate curiosity through our inquiry-based education program, Wonder of Learning. She also provides practical tips for families to foster curiosity at home. “When children are encouraged to follow their curiosities, it instills a growth mindset, the notion that ‘I may not know yet, but I can find out,’” Dr. Loquasto explains. This mindset helps children become confident learners who actively seek knowledge rather than passively receive it. This foundation prepares them for academic success and instills a lifelong love of learning, critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for future challenges. Check out the article for all of Dr. Loquasto's guidance: https://lnkd.in/eNt8AgDD.
