    The typical pre-campaign checklist is familiar: choose creators, brief them well, align on content. All crucial steps but often one important piece gets missed: defining a clear learning agenda before the campaign begins. 💡 Organic influencer campaigns are naturally unpredictable. Two creators can look identical on paper - same audience size, same niche, same content style - and still perform completely differently. Without clear hypotheses and structured test groups, it's easy to walk away from a campaign with just surface-level insights instead of understanding why and how to apply those learnings in future campaigns. A strong campaign setup doesn’t just ask "what happens"; it builds frameworks to learn why it happened. Treating influencer campaigns like structured experiments is how teams turn one-off wins into repeatable success. Would love to hear how others are building learning into campaign setup. 🤔

After winning the audience-voted "Community Pick" slot, I was so excited to take to the stage with Google's Andres Diaz to talk all things YouTube. My session, "YouTube: Building a content and creator strategy for the 2025 cultural vibe shift" explored the opportunities for brands, practical tips for building a creator-led content strategy, and how wider cultural/consumer mood shifts are impacting social strategies more broadly.     I’ve just completed an internship in the Campaigns Team at The Goat Agency throughout my Easter holidays, and it’s been an amazing learning experience! 🐐🚀🧡 During my time at Goat, I had the chance to get involved with so many different areas of influencer marketing and campaign management. Some of the things I worked on included: - Sourcing influencers using different social media platforms to build tailored talent lists alinging with the clients brief and objectives - Writing influencer bios and justifying my selection of infleuncers to the clients based on the campaign objectives - Reviewing influencer content to ensure it matched client expectations and suggesting amendments where necessary to help elevate the final result - Sending out contracts, reviewing and negotiating terms with influencers - Joining client-facing calls and supporting client communications, helping to coordinate updates and keep everything running smoothly - Handling influencer communications, including emailing creators to coordinate campaign details, clarify timelines, and ensure everything stayed on track throughout - Working with the senior team to review and amend deliverables before putting them forward to the client - Managing deadlines and supporting day-to-day tasks in the campaigns team I supported campaigns for a number of amazing clients including Costa, Tesco, Got2b, Unilever, and Orlebar Brown, and gained valuable insights into how campaigns are run from the initial planning stages through to execution! I also had the opportunity to connect with people in different teams across the agency. I had one-to-ones with people in the Strategy and HR teams, which gave me a broader understanding of how The Goat Agency operates! On top that, I met so many lovely people! Everyone was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and passionate about what they do, which made the experience even more rewarding! A huge thanks to the lovely Kathryn Kitchener and Denver Parris for their amazing guidance and support throughout my time there, to Claire Kjaer-Nielsen (FCIPD) for helping me secure the role, and to Michael Starkie for sorting it all out! I’ve learned so much during my time at GOAT, and I’ve left with a bunch of new skills!
