Conversations at #WEF26 reinforced the importance of trust, collaboration, and responsible innovation. Bea Perez shares reflections on the dialogue shaping the future of business and communities.
TL;DR: A productive week in Davos focused on dialogue, trust, and leadership. The World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting is an efficient way for The Coca-Cola Company to engage with global leaders on critical priorities for our business, collaborate with partners, and learn from experts. Here are a few of my key takeaways from #WEF26: ✅ Dialogue is crucial: This year’s Davos reflected a shift toward deeper, constructive dialogue. Building shared understanding before action. ✅ Economic growth & community benefit matter: Stakeholders increasingly expect business to be part of the solution, placing greater responsibility on business leaders. The findings in Edelman’s 2026 Trust Barometer highlight that people trust companies more when they see benefits in their own communities. Sharing Coca-Cola's economic and local impact story with the communities we serve, clearly and consistently, is an important trust-building tool that demonstrates our system’s local impact with a global emphasis on long-term value creation. ✅ ROI from AI is expected: Operationalizing AI in the business and understanding the return on investment is where the debates shifted. Data integrity is a must. Capability building, alongside a growing focus on human skills such as critical judgment, ethics, leadership, and creativity is a journey. And while this is nonstop work with very long days, the relationships that are built by being together is what makes me feel grateful to represent The Company. And for those who know - Cafe Weber’s tomato basil soup and pastries hit the spot. 🥐🥣💛 Thank you to all who make these days come together.
