  • TechPoint Youth's Xplore program is now open for applications, and this year, we're thrilled to expand to Fort Wayne! We'd love your help spreading the word to students. Xplore is a two week paid summer career exploration experience for high school juniors, seniors, and recent graduates (16+)interested in pursuing a STEM career. Students will: ✨ Explore careers in AI, cybersecurity, data science, software engineering, and more ✨ Participate in online simulations and "micro-internships" with local STEM companies ✨ Build professional skills and connect with industry mentors ✨ Learn about Indiana's growing tech ecosystem With just 5–10 hours per week and a mix of virtual and in-person experiences, Xplore is designed to fit into a busy summer schedule. Students earn a stipend for completing the program and no prior experience is needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to explore. Applications are open now. We encourage students to apply early, and share with anyone who might benefit! 👉 Learn more & apply: https://lnkd.in/gMQkaibp

  • What a day. Last Saturday, nearly 2,000 students, 320+ Indiana robotics teams, and more than 10,000 fans packed Lucas Oil Stadium for the 2026 Indiana Robotics State Championship. The energy in that building was something special. From the first match to the final award, every moment was a reminder of what Indiana's students are capable of. The creativity, the grit, and the teamwork on the floor was both impressive and inspiring. To every student who competed, every family who cheered, every coach who showed up all season, thank you. We're so proud of what you built and what you brought to that floor. 📸 Swipe to relive some of our favorite moments. And stay tuned! A full recap with awards, highlights, and more is coming soon!

  • We're thrilled to announce that Jamie Inskeep has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of TechPoint Youth. Jamie's connection to this organization goes back further than most people know. In 2016, she was among the very first teachers to receive a TechPoint Youth robotics grant. She was trained by our team, equipped to bring hands-on learning to her students, and unknowingly was being prepared to become our future leader. She went on to guide her team to tournament champion honors at the 2019 Indiana Robotics State Championship. Then in 2020, she joined us. Over the last five and a half years, she has shaped nearly every corner of this organization: building programs, extending our reach into all 92 Indiana counties, growing the State Championship, and expanding Xplore to give students their first real connection to Indiana's tech workforce. She built and led a high-functioning team, deepened donor relationships, and strengthened our funding base. In every role she has held here, she has shown up with clarity, purpose, and an unwavering belief in what's possible for Indiana students. She has been the operational heart of this organization. Now she becomes its voice and its vision, and there is no one more ready. Please join us in congratulating Jamie. 🎉 Read Jamie's Story: https://lnkd.in/gitPbQpT

  • Just look at these faces. That's the joy, the hope, and the promise of STEM education, right there in real time. These students are doing far more than just competing. Deep down, they're realizing the great things they're capable of, both in this moment, but also in the lives and careers laid out ahead of them. Today, hundreds of Indiana teams competed on the floor at Lucas Oil Stadium, and the robots they built from scratch did exactly what they were designed to do. The energy in the building was something else. Today was truly incredible. Thank you for showing up. 🤖⚡

  • Today, Lucas Oil Stadium belongs to Indiana's kids. Nearly 2,000 students from over 300 teams across the state are walking onto that floor today. Robots in hand, months of hard work behind them, and a whole lot of heart. 450+ volunteers showed up before sunrise to make sure every match, every moment, every student gets what they came here for. And 10,000+ fans, teachers, and coaches are ready to make some noise. This is what Indiana STEM looks like. This is what happens when young people get access to real tools, real challenges, and real mentors. They build something amazing. Literally. Let's gooooooo, Indiana! 🤖

  • ✨ Volunteer Spotlight ✨ Although this is Dakota’s first official year volunteering as a STEM Mentor, he has been serving in this role in countless ways for years. Dakota has supported numerous VEX V5 programs across Indiana and serves as a V5 Head Referee. In the past year alone, he has generously contributed nearly 230 hours mentoring students as they code, build, compete, and deepen their understanding of what it truly means to participate in robotics—placing him in the top 1% of volunteers. When visiting Mark Anderson’s classroom at Cardinal Ritter High School, students eagerly shared how Dakota has challenged them to grow and strengthen their understanding of competition and teamwork. Mr. Anderson shared: “Dakota has been immensely helpful with my team, challenging my students to think outside the box. He is supportive and knowledgeable to everyone he meets.” As a dedicated robotics volunteer, Dakota regularly travels across Indiana and the Midwest as a V5 Head Referee. He meets with event partners (often during his lunch breaks!) to help ensure competitions run smoothly and has organized scrimmages to support teams through midseason rebuilds. He also connects the classrooms he serves with experienced robotics students, creating meaningful peer-to-peer learning opportunities that inspire and elevate newer teams. We are incredibly grateful for Dakota’s passion, expertise, and generosity. His impact on the Indiana robotics community will be felt for years to come. 👏
