TEC Industrial recently gave the TCAT Elizabethton Service Center at Kingsport Pipe Fitting class a tour of our 10,000-square-foot fabrication facility. Students explored our 12 fabrication booths and observed live demonstrations by our craft professionals performing their day-to-day fabrication work.   We are proud to support the next generation of skilled craft workers, and appreciate Jody Hughes, a previous TECI Employee, for allowing his class to visit.   Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Elizabethton #TCAT #WorkforceDevelopment

This Memorial Day, we pause to recognize the men and women who gave everything in service to our country. During our quarterly safety rallies, TEC Industrial’s D‑4 Nitration and EDC crews came together to reinforce the importance of securing your tools, especially when working at heights. Through a hands‑on demonstration where a wrench was dropped from various elevations onto watermelons, teams saw firsthand the serious hazards of falling objects. We commend these teams for delivering an impactful safety demonstration and for demonstrating their commitment to protecting one another on the jobsite.   #ConstructionSafety #SafetyFirst

Last week, TEC Industrial held its 2nd Quarter Safety Rallies across all project sites during Construction Safety Week, focusing on fall protection and the hazards of working at heights.   Teams were also recognized with hats and banners for surpassing 22 million safe work hours without a lost-time injury. At TEC Industrial Maintenance & Construction, we recently wrapped up our Mental Health Awareness Week across our jobsites.   Through short, focused toolbox talks, our teams had meaningful conversations around mental health, suicide awareness, and looking out for one another—just like any other safety topic.   Construction has one of the highest suicide rates of any industry, and too many workers struggle in silence. This week isn’t about pointing fingers or putting anyone on the spot — it’s about making sure our crews know they’re not alone, and that help is available when it’s needed.   Each day focused on a practical, job‑appropriate topic: 🚧 Why mental health matters in construction 🚧 What struggles can look like 🚧 Warning signs to watch for 🚧 How to start a conversation when you’re concerned 🚧 Available resources and our commitment to each other   Thank you to our crews and safety leaders for helping reinforce a culture where checking in, speaking up, and knowing where to find help can make a real difference—on and off the jobsite.   #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #SafetyCulture #ConstructionSafety #LookOutForEachOther
