Construction is officially underway on the I-74 & Dry Fork Road bridge and interchange project! 🚧 Our team had the opportunity to support this project through design, working closely with City of Harrison to move improvements from concept into construction. It’s always exciting to see projects reach this stage, especially ones that will significantly enhance safety and connectivity for the community. Plus, as part of the upcoming construction, the bridge will be raised entirely!🏗️ With support from TEC, the City successfully secured a strong funding package to bring this project to life, including STBG, OPWC, SORTA, TSMO, TRAC, and TID funding. 💰 We’re looking forward to seeing the progress ahead! Exciting to see the Elm Street Stormwater Improvement Project officially celebrated in the City of Norwood. TEC Engineering was proud to provide the design services for this important infrastructure project focused on reducing flooding impacts, improving roadway reliability, and enhancing emergency access for the community. Projects like this make a real difference for residents and businesses, and we appreciate the partnership with Hamilton County, the City of Norwood, and the entire project team that helped bring it to life. Great to see it moving forward! 👏 #TECEngineering #TEC #MunicipalEngineering
Hamilton County Commissioners joined Norwood Mayor Victor Schneider as he cut the ribbon, celebrating the Elm Street Stormwater Improvement Project. The Board of Hamilton County Commissioners awarded the City of Norwood $2.3 million to construct a new storm sewer system from the low point on Elm Avenue to a new outfall located behind the houses along Woodlawn and Ridgeway Avenues. The project will alleviate the severe flooding condition along Elm Avenue. In the past, when the roadway flooded, it presented a dangerous situation for residents and damages occurred to basements of homes and apartment complexes as well as vehicles. The roadway was also blocked for emergency vehicles to respond during flooding events.

We are proud of the lasting impact our projects have on local communities. For the Old Troy Pike Widening project, TEC Engineering partnered with the City of Huber Heights to improve traffic flow and safety along this busy corridor. After conducting a comprehensive traffic study, our team delivered the roadway design to add a third northbound between Taylorsville Road & I-70. Key improvements included: 🛣️ Roadway widening and drainage upgrades. 🚦 A redesigned, modern mast-arm traffic signal at Old Troy Pike & Merily Way/Waynetowne. 🚗 A new dedicated right-turn lane on Merily Way to alleviate congestion. 🚧 Hands-on signal timing adjustments during construction. It's always rewarding to look back at projects that continue to make driving safer and more efficient every day! 🔗 Check out more details: https://lnkd.in/gusrQ3R3 #TECEngineering #TEC #Infrastructure #Transportation #RoadwayDesign
