Future Technologies Venture, LLC was proud to participate in this important forum. Congrats to Sarah Campbell (Phelan) on all of her efforts to help facilitate this great event. Marlan Macklin Thomas Rondeau Martin Weiss Richard Johanning
The Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering’s FutureG Office, in partnership with the Government of Finland, and George Mason University, convened global policymakers, technical experts, and industry leaders at the International Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) Innovation Forum. ISAC will be native to 6G and supports numerous national security use cases. Deputy Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering James Mazol opened the forum by highlighting how the United States Department of War’s near-term ISAC investments support President Trump’s guidance to strengthen U.S. leadership in 6G innovation. Mr. Petri Peltonen, Under Secretary of State at Finland’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, emphasized Finland’s longstanding collaboration between government and industry to ensure next generation networks are secure and trusted. The Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering's FutureG Office looks forward to continued collaboration with the Government of Finland and allied partners to advance ISAC capabilities in support of national security priorities.

Future Technologies Venture, LLC (“Future Technologies”) is a North American lead systems integrator specializing in end-to-end private network solutions for Manufacturing, Energy, Transportation, Military, and Government sectors. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in metro Atlanta, GA, the company delivers assessment, design, deployment, and ongoing support to enable mission-critical infrastructure. With expertise spanning Private 5G, Fixed Wireless, Wi-Fi, Fiber, and legacy networks, Future Technologies powers advanced use cases - from AI, Edge Computing, and Robotics to Connected Worker and Automation. We heard from one of the company' experts recently when Catherine Gull - Vice President of Sales - presented at the Port & Terminal Technology Conference & Exhibition USA in April in Baltimore. Catherine was one of many key industry players that presented across the two days of insight and innovation. She informed audiences on 'Connecting the modern container terminal: a case study on private wireless' Deploying private wireless inside an active container terminal requires more than technology - it demands deep operational understanding, careful integration, and close collaboration with the port operator. In the presentation, North American systems integrator Future Technologies discussed how they partnered with Total Terminals International, LLC to deploy a private wireless network at their facility at the Port of Long Beach to strengthen terminal communications, mobility, and operational reliability. Catherine discussed how the integrator-led approach translated port requirements into a resilient, secure wireless environment tailored to the terminal operations. The conversation also highlighted design considerations, deployment challenges, stakeholder coordination, and the practical role a systems integrator plays in delivering private wireless that performs in a real-world port environment. Attendees gained insight into how ports and terminals can work with experienced integration partners to plan, deploy, and operate private wireless networks that support today’s operational demands while remaining adaptable for the future. If you didn't get to hear Catherine's talk - or swing by the company's booth - then get in touch with them today via https://futuretechllc.com/

It’s a wrap. And the data tells the story. We just completed a Living Lab impact assessment of a content streaming platform over a private cellular network—measuring what actually impacts performance at scale: ✔️ Throughput under load ✔️ Latency and jitter ✔️ Network impact across multiple cellular routers ✔️ Streaming performance (live + cached content) Because in large user environments, “it connects” isn’t enough. It has to perform predictably and consistently. After weeks of benchmarking and performance data collection, we gave our customer something critical: Fact-based assurance the platform will operate cleanly on their network. Before deploying new applications on private LTE/5G, the real questions are: ✔️ Will it scale? ✔️ Will it impact other traffic? ✔️ Will the user experience hold up? That’s exactly what we test in the Living Lab. If you want data-driven validation—not assumptions—let’s talk.
