Exactly one week ago, I had the opportunity to be in Amsterdam representing Teachable at the Creators Empire Mastermind, a two-day experience led by Jan van der Aa and Olly Richards. I was surrounded by some of the best “langpreneurs” in the world, creators building 6 and 7-figure language businesses. And in the age of AI, what stood out to me the most was not the tools, but the level of intentionality: people weren’t just building products, they were deliberately refining how their businesses operate. Testing ideas, challenging each other, and sharing what’s actually working and what isn’t. These are people who are incredibly focused on growth, but not in a superficial way. The conversations were about how to make things better, faster, and more scalable, without compromising the student experience. And you could literally see ideas evolving in real time! On Day 1, most people were still talking about more basic use cases of AI, like using it for email or copy. By Day 2, after Olly’s guidance, people were already experimenting with tools like Claude Code and sharing all the potential use cases they had uncovered for their businesses in just one night. You could see the speed of execution changing inside the room. Tools didn’t change, but how people used them did. Thank you Jan and Olly for allowing me to be in the room. And thank you to all the creators who shared so many valuable insights about their businesses with me. I’m back home with 20 pages of notes (Giovana Carvalho, I promise I'll try to be more concise next time) that tell me Teachable is building exactly what these people are looking for. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
