Nearly one year on from presenting my basketball track research paper at the 2025 MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference, I'm excited share that I've formally joined Synaptiq as Head of R&D. It's been a long journey but momentum has been steadily building since Sloan, with some exciting stuff on the horizon. Over the past year I've been working closely with Amar & Antony to refine and commercialise the work I presented at Sloan, and to build a suite of new, high impact analytical tools to support decision making in elite sport. We're already partnering with several household name teams and organisations on projects that we are incredibly proud of, and this is just the beginning.
