What does it take to start a career in the age of AI?  Superhuman partnered with us to reveal our latest LinkedIn research that explores how young workers are entering an AI-enabled labor market, and what their changing skills can tell us about the future of work. The answer may be more human than you think. As AI takes on more technical execution, LinkedIn data suggests that communication, problem solving, leadership, business context, and industry knowledge are becoming increasingly important parts of the early-career skills stack. Among 22- to 25-year-olds, the share listing communication skills grew 11 percentage points from 2022 to 2026. At the same time, business and industry skills grew from 57% to 65% of all skills listed by this group. And AI literacy is rising quickly, too. The emerging picture isn't one of technical skills simply giving way to AI. It's a new combination: knowing how to use AI, understanding the context in which to apply it, and bringing the human judgment and capabilities that technology can't replace. • Our Berlin team has a new home at Das Center at Potsdamer Platz! 🎉 One of our favorite fun facts: The space used to be a cinema! We’ve transformed it into a unique workplace with plenty of room for our growing team to work, meet, and spend time together. We’re excited to start this next chapter in a space that gives our Berlin team room to grow, and we can’t wait to share more. 🍿

That’s a wrap on Superhuman’s summer 2026 internship program. 👋 Our 22 interns joined for 12 weeks, and they didn’t just learn how we work—they actually helped shape the work. Their big ideas, sharp questions, and limitless energy reminded us why we all love building here. In the carousel below, hear why they chose Superhuman—in their own words. To our interns: Thank you for your curiosity, your hustle, and the fresh perspectives you brought to every project. We can’t wait to see where you go next, and we hope this is “see you later,” not goodbye. Interested in interning with us next summer? Check out our current openings in the comments👇

AI made individual work faster. But most product teams aren’t shipping any quicker. Everyone has their own AI tools, so work keeps stalling at the handoffs—context gets rebuilt, research gets scattered, and decisions made weeks ago vanish before the next sprint. On September 30, we’re breaking down the collaboration model behind high-velocity product teams: where even the fastest-moving teams stall, what to automate vs. what to keep human, and how to keep context intact at every handoff. • "A force multiplier of human work." That's how Bruce Fraser, Ph.D., Executive Director of AI Initiatives at Indian River State College, describes AI's role in education in our back-to-school edition of The Superlative. He makes the case for a new kind of teaching in the age of AI, one built for dynamic intelligence instead of static text.
