Steampunk's Tamar Mintz, Client Relationship Executive for HHS, and Amanda Van Hooser, PMP, Vice President of Operations for USCIS has been named a FORUM IMPACT Women in Leadership honoree alongside MetroStar's Elizabeth Aherns Sr. Operations Executive for Citizen Services and Air Force. This award recognizes the most impactful women in government contracting, nominated and selected by their peers for their leadership and innovation. Tamar’s impact on Steampunk comes from the relationships and trust that she builds with her stakeholders. Amanda has made a tremendous impact at Steampunk through her delivery and mission-oriented mindset. Elizabeth's work puts her at the center of how MetroStar delivers on critical missions, extending her impact beyond the walls of MetroStar to our customers and the nation. The way these women pour themselves into their work shows the impact and dedication that they bring to MetroStar and to Steampunk. As Steampunk, Inc. and MetroStar move toward becoming one company, three unstoppable leaders are being recognized side-by-side for the mark they've left on this industry. We wrapped up our summer Grill & Chill series by bringing our family and friends from both Steampunk, Inc. and MetroStar to the Design IntelligenceⓇ Studio. Oysters, live music, and the perfect vibe to wrap up summer! ⚡️ The day also served as our intern send-off. After a full summer with us, our interns have wrapped up their time at Steampunk thank you for all your hard work and energy. Continuing our Veteran Spotlight series, we are proud to feature Patrick Mattis, an Audit Analyst on our Excellence team and U.S. Navy veteran who joined Steampunk through the SkillBridge program. As we reflect on the announcement that Steampunk, Inc. and MetroStar have entered into an agreement to merge, one thing is abundantly clear: we’re incredibly excited about what’s ahead. This week, we shared the news with our employees, brought our leadership teams together, hosted our first joint All Hands, and capped it off with a MetroStar x Steampunk Grill & Chill at the Design Intelligence® Studio. Across every conversation and connection, we saw the energy, shared values, and ambition behind this combination. To every MetroStar and Steampunk employee, thank you.
