We don’t pass on startups because of bad ideas. We pass because the fundamentals aren’t there. That’s exactly what this program is designed to fix. I’m excited to participate in the TOOLBOX Series at The Platform, a hands-on program built for founders who want to actually build right, not just move fast. Here’s what we’ll cover: 𖧹 Legal foundations + how to think about innovation from day one 𖧹 Equity, ownership, and the realities of the founder journey 𖧹 GTM strategies specifically for the US market 𖧹 Fundraising tactics + live VC roundtables Starts April 30 (Thursdays, 09:30–13:00) Application deadline: April 23 Spots are limited. • As we prepare for Passover, it’s impossible to ignore the challenging times we are all navigating. This year, the holiday’s themes of resilience and freedom resonate more deeply than ever.   We’ve seen firsthand how the Israeli spirit, much like our tech ecosystem, knows how to pivot, defend, and stay incredibly strong under pressure.   And since we’re talking about strength and defense: we decided to give the traditional “Matzah" an upgrade this year. It turns out that when you build an Iron Dome out of Matzah, it’s not only great at defending against crumbs but also stands as a symbol of our collective shield.   It might be a bit dry, and it’s definitely not the most aerodynamic material, but it’s 100% unbreakable.   We know the road ahead isn't simple, but we are certain that by standing together, we will emerge even stronger.   Wishing you and your families a safe, peaceful, and meaningful Passover. The real change in venture isn’t less capital. It’s where it’s going. For the last two years, the narrative around VC has been simple: Less funding, fewer rounds and harder markets. But when you actually follow the capital, the picture looks different. We’re not seeing less investing; we’re seeing capital concentrating. The same (sometimes even larger) pools of capital are flowing into fewer companies, fewer funds, and founders who have already proven they can build. After the peak between 2018 and 2021, many investors got burned, and when capital returned, it came back with a different psychology: → More conservative → More pattern-driven → More focused on perceived risk reduction In practice, that means backing serial founders, known teams, and familiar models. But the concentration isn’t just happening at the startup level. LP capital is also consolidating into a smaller number of venture funds, which compounds power, brand, and track record faster than ever. Many argue this is healthier. That concentrating capital into the “best” companies improves outcomes. But there’s a tension here. Venture has never been about funding what looks obvious, instead it has always been about funding what doesn’t. When capital flows to the same types of founders and the same pattern-matched companies, you reduce risk, but you may also reduce discovery. So, for founders, this changes the bar: 𖧹 Proof earlier 𖧹 Traction earlier 𖧹 Category clarity earlier But for investors, the real question is bigger: Are we building a more disciplined market, or quietly creating blind spots for the next generation of breakout companies? Markets move in cycles. The best founders and investors are the ones who recognize where the cycle is creating opportunities that others don’t see. Is VC becoming more disciplined - or more concentrated?

  • Theator has been named one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company. For the third time. This year’s recognition highlights Surgery-to-Text®: AI that observes surgical procedures and generates operative reports automatically, eliminating dictation, templates, and recall bias. In collaboration with Mayo Clinic, Theator’s AI-generated reports were shown to be more accurate than surgeon-written documentation. In practice, surgeons spend up to 70% less time on reporting, while hospitals recover at least $186 per case. Theator is redefining how surgical data is captured, structured, and used, bringing greater accuracy and efficiency to operating rooms worldwide. Proud to support Tamir Wolf and the Theator team as they continue to redefine what’s possible at the intersection of surgery and AI. To read the full article, click here: https://lnkd.in/dAXNr6p5

In previous rounds of conflict, there was a sense of "this will pass." But this time, the reality of the war with Iran feels different. It isn’t just in the headlines; it has seeped into the very cracks of our daily routines. I call it integration.   There is no "work-life balance", there is only "work-war-life" integration. Work: Trying to focus on a strategy while checking for news updates every 10 minutes. We join global Zoom calls, only to be interrupted by sirens. We mute, head to the shelter, and hop back on to finish the slide deck five minutes later. Kids: It’s been a full month without school. My "coworkers" are now my children, and the workday is a constant juggle of answering questions about the world that I don’t always have the answers to. Life: My commute isn't about traffic anymore; it’s about mentally mapping every concrete barrier on the highway in case the alerts go off while I’m behind the wheel. There is an upside however.   It sounds chaotic because it is.   But there is a fierce, strange strength that comes from this. We are proving to ourselves, and our kids, that we are more resilient and resourceful than we ever imagined. We don't have time for "fluff" or filler; we execute because we’ve learned how to lead under conditions that would paralyze most. As for the kids? They’re seeing a masterclass in adaptability. Hopefully, they’ll come out of this not just "normal," but with a level of grit that can't be taught in a classroom.   We’re all "showing up," but we’re carrying a much heavier backpack than usual. To my colleagues and friends abroad: If I’m a little late to our call, I’m probably just stepping out of a stairwell. I’ll be back in five... • Congrats Entro Security! They were just recognized with 5 Global InfoSec Awards by Cyber Defense Magazine. 🏆 Market Disruptor – IAM 🏆 Innovative Identity Management for AI Agents 🏆 Next Gen Identity Security 🏆 Hot Company – Machine Identity Management 🏆 Market Innovator – Cybersecurity IGAM

Wow. Just wow. RSAC just kicked off, and I’m feeling pretty grateful to start the week like this. Entro Security was just recognized with 5 Global InfoSec Awards by Cyber Defense Magazine: 🏆 Market Disruptor – IAM 🏆 Innovative Identity Management for AI Agents 🏆 Next Gen Identity Security 🏆 Hot Company – Machine Identity Management 🏆 Market Innovator – Cybersecurity IGAM Awards are great, but what matters more to me is what they represent. Identity is changing fast. It’s no longer just people. It’s non-human identities and AI agents operating at scale, often without the guardrails we’re used to. This is the challenge we’ve been deep in for years already. Helping teams actually see, secure, and manage all of these identities in one place before it becomes unmanageable. None of this happens without the team. Thank you to my co-founder Adam Cheriki, and the rest of the Entro Team for making this vision a reality. Really proud of what we’re building together. 🙌 If you're at RSAC, come check us out at booth N-4515

  • We’re excited to announce that Coralogix has partnered with Skyflow to rethink how sensitive data is handled at the infrastructure layer. For years, teams have accepted a fundamental trade-off: protect sensitive data, or preserve usable logs. Redaction became the default. But in practice, it breaks more than it fixes. Once PII is removed, identifiers stop matching, traces lose continuity, and the data loses the context required for effective debugging and AI-driven analysis. This partnership points to a better path forward. By introducing privacy-preserving tokens before data enters the logging pipeline, teams can retain full fidelity in their logs, keeping them searchable, correlated, and ready for AI, while remaining compliant by design. We believe this approach will become foundational for modern data infrastructure. To read the full announcement, click here: https://lnkd.in/d5-EhTZ5

  • We were sorry to miss last week’s gathering around NVIDIA GTC. While the current situation here in Israel kept our team away from the festivities, we’ve been monitoring the FOMO from afar. A massive thank you to our partners, Valley Bank and SIERRA Ventures, for co-hosting the GTC Happy Hour and ensuring the evening was a success. By all accounts, the night delivered exactly what we aimed for: a dedicated space for founders, investors, and enterprise leaders to have candid, high-level conversations about the next generation of infrastructure. While we couldn’t be there in person, our team remains fully operational and focused on the "trench-work" here in Israel. We are continuing to move at full speed, supporting our portfolio and actively seeking the next exceptional teams building the future of the enterprise. Thank you to everyone who joined. We look forward to catching up with you all very soon. StageOne Ventures Netanel Meir Avi Shulman

A great morning speaking at the REACH Israel Kickoff 2026, hosted by Second Century Ventures and the National Association of Realtors’ venture arm. The conversation focused on a simple question founders often underestimate: What actually makes an entrepreneur stand out to investors? Great discussion alongside: 𖧹 Yuval Avni - Crescendo Venture Partners 𖧹 Hila Rom - FutureFirst 𖧹 Assaf Wise - Earth & Beyond Ventures And thank you to ✦ Tal Rath and the REACH Israel team for bringing together founders and investors for an honest conversation about fundraising and venture relationships.
