SC Competes’ SC Logistics Cluster hosted its Q1 Partner Meeting this afternoon, bringing stakeholders together from across the state. Attendees toured the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina's Supply Chain program and connected with peers while learning more about opportunities to engage across all SC Competes industry clusters. The meeting highlighted how cross-cluster collaboration can expand opportunities statewide. Next stop for our team this week: the 2026 Maritime & Logistics Youth Expo tomorrow! We’re excited to see so many students interested in the maritime transportation and logistics industry.

Last week, SC Competes team members Mendy Lewis and Callie Price visited Batesburg-Leesville Middle School as part of our Palmetto AI Pathways program. Students engaged in interactive lessons with PAL (Palmetto Automated Learner), our AI-powered robot dog, while exploring coding, robotics, problem-solving, and more. We loved seeing how engaged the students were. The future of AI and robotics careers in South Carolina is bright!
