Last week marked National Salvation Army Week, a time to recognize and reflect on The Salvation Army’s ongoing service in communities across the United States. During this week, we are grateful to have received recognition from the White House and members of Congress, including Senator Katie Britt, Senator Tim Kaine, and Representative Don Davis, highlighting a shared commitment to serving those in need. Through nearly 7,400 centers of operation, The Salvation Army helps nearly 29 million people in the United States each year, supported by volunteers, officers, and staff serving neighbors in a wide range of communities. Thank you to Bobcat Company for their generous $465K donation of portable generators and light towers to six Salvation Army locations across the country in support of our disaster relief efforts. This support follows their earlier $885K equipment donation after Hurricanes Helene and Milton.  This equipment strengthens our response capabilities by helping power service centers, light parking lots during supply distribution, and ensures our teams are prepared to provide sustained support to communities impacted by natural disasters.  We’re grateful for Bobcat’s continued partnership, which helps our disaster response teams serve communities nationwide throughout recovery.
