  • Remembering Dan Peters, Former President of E-ONE, REV Fire Group It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dan Peters, a longtime leader in the fire industry and a former president of E-ONE and REV Fire Group. Peters served as president of E-ONE from 2013 to 2020. During that time, he was instrumental in working with the REV Group in acquiring three additional fire truck manufacturers – Ferrara Fire Apparatus, KME Fire Apparatus and Spartan Emergency Response, which includes Smeal, Ladder Tower and Spartan Fire Chassis. Dan served as the first president of the REV Fire Group. "Dan was just a unique visionary leader whose unwavering dedication shaped E-ONE and inspired many within the fire industry,” said Mike Virnig, President of the Terex Specialty Vehicles Segment. “His passion for innovation and commitment to safety set the standard for all of us. Dan was a mentor to me and many others, and I am forever grateful for his guidance, wisdom, and friendship. His legacy will live on in every vehicle we build and every life we help protect." Dan leaves behind his indelible mark of leadership, innovation, and service to the fire and emergency response community. Throughout his long and distinguished career, he dedicated himself to supporting the men and women who serve and protect others every day, helping advance the safety, effectiveness, and future of the fire service industry. In addition to his work at E-ONE, Dan served as president of Akron Brass, vice president of sales for Pierce Manufacturing, and later as CEO of Emergency Response Technologies Inc (ERT). During this difficult time, please keep in your thoughts and prayers his devoted wife, Jennie; his daughter, Chelsea Darley, and her husband Ryan; his son, Elliott Peters, and his wife Mallory; Jennie’s children, Jordan Stout and her husband Nick, and Tanner Weaver and his wife Mackenzie; along with his seven deeply cherished grandchildren, who brought him so much joy and pride. He also leaves behind countless friends, colleagues, and members of the fire service community whose lives were forever impacted by his wisdom, steady leadership, generous spirit, and unwavering friendship. His legacy will live on not only through his family, but through the many people he mentored, inspired, and cared for throughout his life. • If you weren't able to attend FDIC this year, here's a quick peek of what E-ONE, Ferrara, KME, Spartan Emergency Response, American Emergency Vehicles, Horton, Road Rescue and Wheeled Coach had on display and the events at our Pavillion. We had over 27 fire apparatus and emergency vehicles on display and our partner 3rd Eye was on hand to demonstrate their advanced safety technology to the fire chiefs, firefighters, fleet managers, and military personnel in attendance.

  • "The RV community runs on trust — and that continues to guide everything we do. Since Terex and REV Group came together in February 2026, our focus has been clear: bringing the strengths of both organizations together, delivering on our commitments, and building an even stronger future for our customers, dealers, and teams. Our teams across Fleetwood RV, Holiday Rambler, American Coach, and Renegade RV are focused on what they do best: designing and building exceptional coaches and supporting the RV lifestyle our customers love. Our customers are supported by a strong dealer network, comprehensive warranties, and dedicated customer service teams. Across manufacturing, engineering, and service, our teams are focused on delivering the quality, reliability, and ownership experience RV owners expect from our brands. Already this year, the launch of the Renegade RV Villagio at the Florida RV SuperShow and the American Coach road show in South Florida generated tremendous excitement around our premium coaches. And we’re just getting started. Later this year we’ll introduce our Model Year 2027 lineup, and we’re looking forward to connecting with our dealer partners at the upcoming Dealer Summit. Thank you to our dealers, customers, and teams who make this community so strong. " — Gary Gunter, President, Recreational Vehicle brands, Terex Corporation

  • Last week, our fire apparatus team had a productive time in Washington, D.C. attending the Congressional Fire Services Institute #CFSI2026 and engaging with leaders who are championing the future of emergency services. We had the opportunity to meet with Congressman Dan Meuser (PA) to discuss the critical challenges facing emergency services today. We appreciate his continued support and engagement, as well as the collaboration with members of the IAFC and PA Chiefs. Our team also connected with Senator Dave McCormick (PA) and members of his staff. We were especially honored to meet with Senator Ashley Moody (FL) in her Washington, D.C. office. We’re grateful for her support of emergency services and the organizations working alongside to keep our communities safe.

  • We are proud to announce a $23.5 million investment in our E-ONE Ocala, Florida manufacturing facility—an important step forward in strengthening our ability to serve fire departments across North America. This expansion will increase our aerial production capacity by 35%, helping reduce delivery times for critical firefighting equipment. As demand grows for modern ladder trucks and aerial platforms, we remain focused on delivering faster—because everyday matters when it comes to protecting communities. Key highlights of the investment include: • Expanded assembly, fabrication, and paint facilities • A new ladder manufacturing “center of excellence” • Increased aerial body assembly capabilities • Enhanced paint operations to improve throughput and quality • A second test pit to streamline production and eliminate bottlenecks “This investment reflects E-ONE’s unwavering commitment to the firefighting industry,” said Mike Virnig, President of Terex Specialty Vehicles Segment. “Every day of reduced delivery time means people and property are better protected.” We look forward to breaking ground in the coming months alongside local leaders, fire chiefs, and community partners. #EONE #FireApparatus #Manufacturing #Innovation #FireService #CommunitySafety

  • We are proud to support the next generation of first responders! Our GM from Leader Emergency Vehicles, Julio Fernandez, recently presented a Ferno Power Load cot—donated by Leader—to Stan Bakey and the Fire Academy & EMT program at Rio Hondo College. This donation gives students hands-on experience with the same equipment used by first responders in the field, helping prepare them for real‑world patient care and transport. We’re honored to invest in local education and help develop the future of emergency medical professionals.
