I had the honor of attending the 𝐍𝐂 𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐇 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for the fourth time, representing the National Black MBA Association - Raleigh/Durham Chapter Every time I walk into that room, I’m reminded that leadership is not just about titles. It’s about impact. It’s about relationships. It’s about showing up consistently for the community you care about. During Black History Month, moments like this hit a little deeper. We stand on the shoulders of those who pushed open doors in rooms we now get to walk into. And now it’s on us to build, connect, and make sure the next generation has even greater access. Grateful to represent. Grateful to build bridges between tech and our community. Grateful to keep becoming. Let’s keep growing. Let’s keep leading. Let’s keep opening doors. ✊🏾✨ North Carolina Technology Association (NC TECH) Paul Erunse Anne Hungate Greg Boone Rich “Richnovated” Gilliam Marcus Lindsay Photos by One TrueShot Photography #BlackHistoryMonth #NCTECH #NationalBlackMBA #Leadership #RaleighDurham #TechLeadership

Black History Month is not just a reflection of where we’ve been, it’s a call to action for where we’re going. As President of the RDU Triad Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, I’m reminded that Black history is built on brilliance, resilience, innovation, and leadership, often in the face of systems designed to exclude us. Our ancestors didn’t just survive, they created. They built businesses, institutions, movements, and legacies that continue to shape this country and the global economy. And today, we carry that same responsibility forward. Black History Month challenges us to do more than celebrate names from the past. It asks us to invest in Black talent today. To expand access to education, leadership, and economic opportunity. To ensure Black professionals are not only present in rooms of influence, but empowered to lead them. At NBMBAA, our mission is rooted in that legacy. Our community exists to cultivate leaders, accelerate careers, strengthen businesses, and create pathways for generational impact. Every program we run, every student we support, every professional we develop is part of modern Black history in the making. So this month, and every month, let’s honor our history by building the future: boldly, unapologetically, and together.

  • Honoring the Life, Legacy, and Leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Today, the RDU Triad Chapter of the National Black MBA Association pauses to honor the life and enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. — a visionary leader whose courage, conviction, and commitment to justice continue to shape our nation and our communities. Dr. King reminded us that leadership is rooted in service, that progress requires persistence, and that economic equity and opportunity are essential to true freedom. His work challenges us not only to dream, but to act — with integrity, purpose, and collective responsibility. As professionals, leaders, and change-makers, we carry forward his legacy by advocating for equity, creating access, uplifting our communities, and leading with courage in every space we occupy. Today, and every day, may we continue to build, serve, and lead in a way that honors his vision. #MLKDay #DrMartinLutherKingJr #LeadershipInAction #ServiceAboveSelf #RDUTriadNBMBAA #LegacyOfLeadership
