We’re halfway through the Sydney Swans season, and QBE Foundation’s Goals for Good initiative is already delivering impact beyond the game. So far, 107 goals have helped raise $107K for QBE Foundation community partners and the Sydney Swan Foundation. “For 40 years, our partnership with the Sydney Swans has been about showing up consistently, and that’s exactly what Goals for Good does. By running across the whole season, every home game contributes to meaningful outcomes for our community partners.” - Julie Starley GAICD, Co-Chair, QBE Foundation With plenty of football still to play, the impact is only just getting started. #QBEInsurance #QBEAttheartofit #GoalsforGood #QBEFoundation Save the Children Australia FRRR (Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal) Australian Red Cross R U OK? Last week at RIMS Australasia’s Melbourne conference, Alex Taylor, Global Head of Emerging Technology at QBE Ventures, shared insights on how AI is reshaping risk and insurance, while reinforcing the critical role people play in guiding its use. Alex explored how AI can support decision‑making across underwriting, claims and risk management by helping teams analyse complex data more quickly and deeply — freeing up people to focus on higher‑value, strategic work. He also highlighted the importance of strong governance, cyber resilience and human oversight as AI becomes more embedded across organisations. “AI has enormous potential to support better risk insights, but it’s people who provide the judgement, accountability and responsibility needed to use it well,” said Alex. Proud to be partnering with RIMS Australasia to support industry conversations that help risk leaders navigate emerging challenges and build resilience for the future. #RIMS2026 #ArtificialIntelligence #RiskLeadership #EmergingRisk #CyberRisk #Insurance #QBEVentures #QBEInsurance #QBEAttheartofit

Last week, QBE proudly celebrated the Marn Grook AFL First Nations Round alongside our longstanding partners for the past four decades, the Sydney Swans at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Marn Grook, meaning “game ball”, recognises the First Nations roots of Australian Football and the important connection between culture and community. To mark the round, more than 200 guests joined us in the QBE Clubroom for a memorable matchday experience. The event was hosted by Marlee Silva, a proud Gamilaroi and Dunghutti woman, best-selling author, broadcaster, and respected public speaker who welcomed special guests including Reconciliation Australia, Diversity Council Australia, CareerTrackers, Deadly Coders, DeadlyScience, John Briggs Consultancy and YarnnUp, as well as valued broker and business partners. Guests observed a powerful performance by Wiradjuri woman and singer Olivia Coe Fox and Neenan, a proud Wiradjuri and Ngemba man from Central West NSW playing the didgeridoo. Shiona Watson, Chief People Officer and QBE Reconciliation Action Plan Executive Sponsor commented, “Celebrating the Marn Grook round is a meaningful way to honour culture and the stories that have shaped the game we know today. We extend our thanks to the Sydney Swans and our guests for creating such a meaningful platform and showing how strong partnerships continue to deliver impact – on and off the field.” #QBEInsurance #QBEAttheartofit

This past weekend, we recognised IDAHOBIT - International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia - as an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to inclusion and allyship. At QBE, we stand proudly with the LGBTIQ+ community, continuing to foster a culture where everyone feels safe, valued, and respected. We’re also excited to share that Cool.org has been awarded this year’s QBE Foundation Pride Grant. Their work in educating and empowering young people to drive social change reflects the impact we can create when we invest in inclusive futures. Together, we continue to turn intention into action: building stronger, more inclusive communities for today and tomorrow. 🌈 #QBE #QBEPride #IDAHOBIT #Inclusion #Diversity
