🌟 We’re proud to recognize Nash Caldwell as this month’s Value Award Winner! 🌟 Over the past 18 months as a Repair Technician, Nash has grown into a highly skilled and dependable team member—most notably mastering repair work for both Van Staal and Hardy reels in just the last six months. These are “white glove” brands with incredibly high expectations, and Nash consistently delivers exceptional craftsmanship, clear communication, and timely service that our customers rely on. Recently, Nash volunteered his time to support a Fly Show in Edison, NJ, where he worked alongside our Brand and Sales teams and made a strong impression. We recently had the opportunity to be part of something truly unique with the Berkley Lab Series Sensory Event in Bardstown, KY at the Bardstown Bourbon Distillery, and what an incredible experience it was.     Bringing together 28 top-tier freshwater fishing media outlets, this event went far beyond a traditional product launch. It was an immersive, sensory-driven experience designed to showcase the science behind Berkley’s latest innovation in soft bait technology.     A standout moment was Dr. Hoby Wedler’s “Tasting in the Dark” session. By removing sight, participants were challenged to rely solely on taste, smell, and texture, heightening their awareness of how sensory cues shape perception. This powerful exercise created a direct parallel to how fish interact with their environment, reinforcing how Berkley Lab Series baits are engineered to trigger bites through scent and taste, not just sight.  By connecting human sensory experiences to the underwater world, the event brought the innovation story to life in a memorable and meaningful way.     The experience concluded with an exclusive first look at what Berkley has been developing behind closed doors, technology that ultimately proved itself on the biggest stage, winning the Bassmaster Classic.     A huge shoutout to everyone involved in creating such a creative and impactful event. Our Pure Fishing 2026 National Sales Meeting brought teams together to align on strategy, share insights, and build excitement for the year ahead. We kicked off the week with a tradition everyone looks forward to, the Lake Murray fishing tournament, presented by Abu Garcia. Larry Tankersley took first place with an impressive 25.19 lbs, earning his name on the trophy. Steve Esbin landed the Big Bass Award with a 7.58 lb catch, and a new personal best! Throughout the week, teams connected around new product launches, activation plans, promotions, and the S&OP cycle, while also hearing from our Spirit Lake leaders about the innovation, science, and expertise behind our products. We wrapped up the event with Casino Night, celebrating the successes of 2025 and recognizing outstanding achievements across the team.
