Another bumper harvest from our Plantaform™ Fogponics Capsule Farm only 4 weeks after our roadshow at the Alberta Seventh-day Adventist Conference Foothills Camp Meeting! Remember that we had little kids chopping off lettuce leaves for 5 days straight... The photos are almost unbelievable when you look at the level of recovery between mid-July and mid-August.

PARKVIEW ADVENTIST ACADEMY is on the road this week at Alberta Seventh-day Adventist Conference Camp Meeting at the Foothills Camp and Retreat Center. The star of this week's show is definitely the Plantaform™ Fogponics Capsule we brought with us. The kids absolutely love being able to snip fresh leaves of lettuce for immediate consumption. Parents are also very intrigued by the work PARKVIEW ADVENTIST ACADEMY and the Alberta Seventh-day Adventist Conference are doing in the food tech space. Let's keep growing healthy produce and healthy minds!

Today was the day so many of us have been waiting for... It was the FIRST CUT of the lettuce crop in our PARKVIEW ADVENTIST ACADEMY Plantaform™ Fogponics Capsule! 5 varieties of lettuce, grown in ONLY 6 WEEKS. We will continue to harvest gradually over the next several days. I took some of this harvest to one of our major donors who simply couldn't believe the quality and quantity coming out of this tabletop growing unit. Our Interim Principal, Kayla Whitworth, was busy this morning pulling leaves and marveling at the sheer output of this device. We will take this farm capsule to the Alberta Seventh-day Adventist Conference annual Camp Meeting, which begins this Friday, July 10th and runs until Sunday, July 19th. Can't wait to see the jaws drop over there.

Reaching the end of week 4 of our Plantaform™ Fogponics Capsule's first crop at PARKVIEW ADVENTIST ACADEMY. I had to take photos from three angles so you can see the 5 varieties of lettuce. It's a marvel to walk by every day and see meaningful changes. So far, we've added water to the system only once, so that's a total of less than 9 litres since we started (and less than 10g of nutrient powder).

Every school year, hundreds of Ottawa classrooms are given access to hands-on learning through the Classroom Gardens program. To celebrate the hard work of teachers and their students, we host an annual photo contest encouraging classrooms to share their Classroom Gardens harvests and healthy meals and snacks made from what they have grown. The photos demonstrate the core learnings from the program, show the students engaging with their gardens, and celebrate food literacy. The top three photos win a $100 Gift Card to Canadian Tire! Coming up on 2 weeks of action in the Plantaform™ Fogponics Capsule at PARKVIEW ADVENTIST ACADEMY. A sight to behold. Fogponics capsule at Parkview Adventist Academy, Day 0: The future is here! Today we planted 5 types of lettuce in our brand new Plantaform™ Fogponics Capsule, a controlled environment which feeds the plants using a nutrient-laden mist instead a water bath. This beast uses only a maximum of 60W of power and less than 3 litres of water per week.
