At Perdue Farms, caring for our communities and our planet is part of who we are — and Earth Month was a powerful reflection of that commitment. Across the country, associates rolled up their sleeves and participated in initiatives dedicated to preserving our planet like community clean ups, tree planting events, and environmental celebrations that made a meaningful impact in the places we live and work. Whether it was preserving local green spaces, reducing plastic waste, or promoting sustainability through education and action, our teams demonstrated the care and responsibility that define our culture. A special thank you to all Perdue associates who contributed their time and energy during Earth Month — your dedication continues to drive positive change, one community at a time. 🌳🪴☀️

Together, We Strike out Hunger! 🍽️ This year, through the power of community, collaboration, and compassion, we are coming together to make a real impact in the fight against food insecurity on the Delmarva Peninsula. Perdue Farms and the Delmarva Shorebirds have launched the 2025 Perdue Strike Out Hunger Challenge, benefitting Food Bank of Delaware Maryland Food Bank (Eastern Shore Branch) and Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore Our partners recently joined us on the diamond to officially announce the challenge as fans crowded in for Friday’s game against Augusta. During the regular season, we are challenging the food banks to raise the minimum equivalent of 10,000 meals to claim equal shares of $10,000 grants from the Perdue Foundation. Fans can also help us make a difference by donating canned goods at every home Sunday Shorebirds game. Since 2012, our challenge has generated 2.3 million meals for individuals and families in need! We recognize that hunger is a year-round challenge. So is our commitment of Delivering Hope to Our Neighbors® Want to get involved? Stay tuned for updates, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support Strike Out Hunger this season. #StrikeOutHunger #DeliveringHope #EndHungerDelmarva #CommunityImpact #FoodSecurity

Happy #EarthDay! At Perdue, we are committed to preserving our natural resources so that we can hand over a better world to future generations. That’s why today, and all year long, we prioritize environmental stewardship and partner with like-minded groups working to protect our planet. Our associates showed what that looks like in action today, supporting our partnership with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and its Project Clean Stream initiative, cleaning up trash and debris from a local park in Salisbury, Maryland to help preserve the delicate ecosystem of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Thank you to all Perdue volunteers and Alliance supporters who turned out and are making a tangible difference in our community!

We’re proud to announce that Perdue AgriBusiness has partnered with Eion Carbon to become the first company ever to deploy enhanced rock weathering (ERW) within its own supply chain. By spreading olivine on Mid‑Atlantic farms, we will remove 3,500 tons of CO₂ from the atmosphere, improve soil health and resilience, and lower input costs for our growers     This carbon insetting deal accelerates nature’s mineralization process from millennia to just a few years—sequestering carbon right where our crops grow. It’s a win for the planet, a win for farmers, and another milestone in our century‑plus commitment to sustainability. Join us in celebrating real climate solutions that benefit communities and ecosystems alike, and read more about this pilot here: https://lnkd.in/ecvCz3g3 #PerdueFarms #Sustainability #ClimateAction #RegenerativeAg #CarbonRemoval #SoilHealth

  • The Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation is doing its part to fight cancer in Delaware. This week, The Bayhealth Foundation was awarded a $25,000 grant to support its Mobile Care Unit’s cancer screening program. Their impressive 38-foot ‘rolling clinic’ brings breast, lung and prostate screenings to Kent and Sussex counties, along with several Perdue plants, meeting people where they are when it matters most.    Perdue associate Bernadette Louiser knows firsthand how early screenings can save lives. Bernadette is a mother of three, and she says busy schedules can get in the way of important appointments. After learning about Bayhealth’s resources through the onsite Perdue Wellness Center at our Milford plant, she was able to receive early care that allowed her to get back to focusing on family.    Bayhealth’s mission was a perfect match for Perdue’s Delivering Hope To Our Neighbors outreach, prioritizing partnerships that improve quality of life and build strong communities. We are proud to support services that are making a real difference for our associates, their families, and our neighbors!

  • Congratulations are in order for Mike Levengood, Perdue’s Chief Animal Care Officer! Mike was recently recognized as the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences Outstanding Alumnus for 2025. It is the highest honor the college’s Ag alumni can earn. An associate for more than 40 years, Mike has built a career rooted in passion, purpose, and deep respect for the farmers and animals at the heart of our work. He is a champion for the continuous improvement of our poultry welfare and biosecurity programs, and his professional achievements, along with a long-standing commitment to sharing his expertise with students and faculty, were pivotal in earning this accolade. Mike was also recently inducted into the Armsby Honor Society, a distinction that recognizes excellence in service, philanthropy, and scholarship. Perdue is proud of Mike’s latest accomplishments, and the standard he continues to set both within the company and the industry! #PerdueProud

  • As Women's History Month comes to a close, we celebrate two remarkable women who were at the heart of Perdue Farms’ beginnings: Pearl and Madeline Perdue. In 1920, Pearl Perdue played a pivotal role in starting it all, working alongside her husband, Arthur, to build a small poultry business in Salisbury, Maryland. Pearl’s dedication to the day-to-day operations ensured that every egg and chicken reflected the family’s values of care and quality. Decades later, Madeline Godfrey married Frank Perdue and became the third-ever associate at Perdue. She wore many hats—from managing payroll to personally delivering baby chicks from the hatchery. Last year, Perdue AgriBusiness honored her legacy by naming its new liquid barge the Miss Madeline—a fitting tribute to her lasting impact. This new barge not only helps ease traffic and reduce emissions but also serves as a reminder of the incredible influence one woman can have. Women have been at the forefront of Perdue’s story from the beginning, and that legacy continues today. We are proud to have women leading in agriculture, operations, and corporate roles across the company. Thank you to all the women, past and present, whose talent, passion, and leadership help define Perdue Farms. #PerdueProud #WomensHistoryMonth
