About us
PaperFit is a privacy-first PDF toolkit that runs entirely in your browser. No uploads. No servers. When you use PaperFit, your files never leave your device — not even for a millisecond. Everything is processed locally using your own browser, so your contracts, resumes, and sensitive documents stay exactly where they belong — with you. Most online PDF tools send your files to servers you’ve never heard of. PaperFit doesn’t. That’s not a feature. That’s the foundation. 16 tools. Free. No sign-up required. Merge, compress, split, convert, resize, and more — instantly, privately, and without the fine print. Built for professionals, freelancers, and anyone who’s ever felt that little panic after clicking “Upload.” → paperfit.app

You've uploaded a PDF to one of those free converter sites. Probably more than once this week. I did too. Then I actually read one of their privacy policies. "We auto-delete your files." After how long, and who checks? "HTTPS means it's secure." That covers the connection, not what happens on their server before your file gets there. "It's just a PDF." Until it's a bank statement, a contract, someone's ID. These tools aren't lying. They're answering a narrower question than the one you're asking. The carousel breaks that down. Browsers can handle most of this locally. Most tools use servers anyway because it's simpler to ship. That's it. That's the whole reason. PaperFit runs the same set of tools without any of this. Files never leave your browser. Everything runs on your device. visit https://paperfit.app to explore. #PDF #Productivity #DataPrivacy #Tools #Free #BuildInPublic #BuiltForPublic #Hackathon #Student #PDFTools #TILInsights #TheInterestingLab

We counted. The average person visits 3 different websites just to handle basic PDF tasks in a single day. 3 uploads. 3 sets of terms and conditions you didn't read. 3 different interfaces to figure out. 3 chances for your file to quietly end up on a server you've never heard of. And the worst part? None of those sites talk to each other. So you're downloading, re-uploading, reformatting — just to get one document ready to send. That's not a workflow. That's a scavenger hunt. We built PaperFit to end exactly that. 16 PDF tools. One place. No account. No installs. No silent uploads to servers you don't trust. Compress it. Merge it. Split it. Convert it. Resize it. Optimize it. Secure it. Whatever your PDF needs — it's already there, waiting. Fast. Safe. Free. Try it once and you'll wonder why you ever did it any other way. 🔗 paperfit.app #PDF #Productivity #DataPrivacy #Tools #Free #BuildInPublic #BuiltForPublic #PDFTools #TILInsights #TheInterestingLab

We’re live. And honestly? We built this out of frustration. Every time I needed to edit a PDF, I’d end up on some sketchy website, uploading my files to a server I’d never heard of. Contracts. Resumes. ID documents. Just… out there. So we built PaperFit. Everything happens in your browser. Your files never touch our servers. Not even for a millisecond. 15 tools. Free. No account. No nonsense. This one’s for everyone who’s ever felt that little panic after clicking “Upload.”
