Most operations teams are stuck between two options: burn out senior engineers on firefighting, or hand production over to unguided AI agents. What if there's a third way—one that scales capacity without adding risk? At #PagerDutyOnTour 2026, David Williams shared our vision for the future: autonomous agents resolving incidents before on-call engineers ever have to. To get there, we're teaching AI agents to learn from your engineering workflows. Here's how we're helping teams do it ➡️ bit.ly/4wPbpFc

AI generates code faster than teams can safely review. Most teams respond by slowing production or rubber-stamping AI code. Both approaches put your services at risk. Traditional code review tools don’t understand operational reality. They can't flag the downstream effects of code under live stress the way a senior engineer can. Leading teams are using AI to elevate their shift-left strategies, bringing operational memory closer to the development environment. Learn how ➡️ bit.ly/4xLlNij

We're honored to continue learning alongside Fast Forward and accesSOS 💚
When your work helps people reach 911, AI isn't the goal. Getting someone help is. This morning, Fast Forward and PagerDuty brought about 45 tech nonprofit teams together with PagerDuty volunteers to move from AI curiosity to everyday practice. Gabriella M. Wong, our founder, joined the AI in Operations panel to share a nonprofit perspective on using AI. We're grateful PagerDuty has been with us from the start. When we first launched, our founder would refresh our app over and over to make sure it was still up. When people use your app to reach 911, you can't miss an outage. Since 2023, PagerDuty has helped us catch problems before our users feel them. In 2025, PagerDuty.org welcomed us into their Impact Cohort with funding, hands-on help, and support for our AI work. Today, AI runs through our work. It helps our small engineering team build, debug, and ship faster, and design and test more options for people in an emergency. When the stakes are higher, we test even more scenarios. In testing, a user said, "I accidentally cut myself with a knife," and AI flagged a weapon. We tightened the language, added guardrails, and reran it until it got it right. And when AI fails, a person is always ready to step in. We're still learning, and today we got to learn alongside so many others doing the same. Thank you Taymar Quezada, Marcus Thompson, Stevenson Jean-Pierre, Everaldo Aguiar, 🛡Garrett R., and Gaby Andrada.

14 days. That's how long it takes UWM to close a loan — while the rest of the industry is still stuck at 38. The secret isn't a faster underwriter. It's a faster "alarm system". United Wholesale Mortgage used to chase down IT problems the old-fashioned way: a game of email-and-text telephone. Now, PagerDuty automates incident response, connects ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams and their entire IT operation into one loop so issues get caught before they become bottlenecks, not after. Turns out knowing about a problem before your borrower does is a pretty good business model. Read the full story ➡️ bit.ly/4hwiJ4e

Most AI-first incident management platforms don't fail because of the technology. They fail because the organization wasn't ready for them. We put together a buyer's guide for technical and operational leaders on how to match your AI investment to where your team actually operates today—including a maturity framework, a vendor-neutral evaluation checklist and the buying traps that quietly make operations more fragile. Read it here ➡️ bit.ly/4wUWj13

88% of CIOs expect agentic AI to be core to their operations within two years. Most are already investing. Most aren't seeing the returns they expected. The reason is usually the same: They've adopted AI without operationalizing it. Here's what the enterprises that are seeing results actually do differently ➡️ bit.ly/46sGaVD
