  • Last Friday, May 15th, Orr Group's New York teammates stepped out of the office and joined the local nonprofit community at the Philanthropic Planning Group of Greater New York (PPGGNY)'s 2026 Planned Giving Day and Women In Development, New York's Women of Achievement Luncheon! We were proud to serve as a first-time sponsor for PPGGNY's annual conference, which brought together planned giving experts and fundraisers for a full day of insightful discussions and valuable networking opportunities. At WID NY's luncheon, eight staff members represented Orr Group in the room as attendees recognized leaders who advance philanthropy, inspire generosity, and elevate the nonprofit sector. We're grateful to be part of a community that shares our commitment to strengthening the nonprofit sector. 🤝

  • Last week, Orr Group traveled to Florida for an executive AI series in Miami and West Palm Beach. In partnership with City National Bank of Florida and CKF Collective, we engaged local nonprofit leaders for robust discussions around how organizations can assess their AI readiness and adopt AI in a way that is strategic, safe, and mission-minded. On Wednesday, 5/13, we were hosted at Miami Dade College's AI Center, where we welcomed 20+ executives for a presentation and panel (Pedro A Santos Acosta DBA, James Campanella, Terry Cangelosi, Julii Oh, Christopher Simmonds), followed by a networking reception. Then, on Thursday, 5/14, we facilitated a roundtable discussion in West Palm Beach where C-suite leaders shared their candid experiences and exchanged ideas for integrating AI into their organizations to free capacity and drive efficiency. Our conversations throughout the week reinforced that, by establishing alignment and clarity at the leadership level, nonprofits can mitigate risk and guide responsible AI adoption organization-wide. Check out some highlights below! 💡 🤝
