We are pleased to share that OIG partner Ilona Turner has been elected Chair of the Labor & Employment Law Section of The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF). Ilona joined BASF in 2011 and has been deeply involved in the organization’s work over the years, including serving as Vice Chair of the Labor & Employment Law Section beginning in 2024 and previously as Co-Chair of the Equality Committee on LGBTQ+ Issues. The Labor & Employment Section brings together attorneys across the Bay Area from all sides of the bar -- management-side, employee-side, labor unions, in-house attorneys, and neutrals -- who are leaders in the field. Ilona’s appointment reflects both her expertise in labor and employment matters and her longstanding commitment to the Bay Area legal community. We were honored to be at the 2026 Gender Justice Summit at University of California, Berkeley - School of Law - an exceptional two days of rigorous analysis, candid discussion, and practical insight on developments in discrimination and harassment law. We’re sharing a few behind-the-scenes moments from the program and conversations surrounding it. We love participating in forums that bring together investigators, advocates, scholars, and public officials for serious, substantive exchange. Managing Partner Vida L.
