  • The history of the Wilkins Rogers Mill complex dates back to 1774, when the Ellicott brothers established one of Maryland’s first commercial flour mills along the Patapsco River. The site played an important role in early industrial innovation, adopting automation systems that helped position Baltimore as a major flour production center. Over time, the complex evolved through multiple owners and expansions, remaining a cornerstone of the region’s industrial identity for generations until its closure in 2020. Today, it remains a contributing property within the Ellicott’s Mills Historic District. Learn more about Ellicott Mill: https://lnkd.in/eXyjMJCp

  • NTCIC is proud to be playing a part in the financing of Ellicott Mill, a site with more than two centuries of industrial history. This unique investment reflects our commitment to preserving historic assets through multiple forms of strategic financing that foster economic development and community revitalization.” — Amanda Bloomberg, Senior Acquisitions Manager at NTCIC NTCIC supported the project through a combination of Federal and State Historic Tax Credit investment as well as a bridge loan, contributing to a financing structure that supports both execution and long-term stewardship. • Director of Asset Management Kimberly Laird and Senior Asset Manager Sarah Bussy represented NTCIC this past Friday at Webster Community Center's ribbon-cutting in Pontiac, Michigan! 🎉   The ceremony brought together over 500 community members and local leaders, and the momentum in the room made it clear how excited the community is about this new space and the opportunities it will create.   We’re thrilled to be part of the financing behind such an impactful project and to support investments that strengthen neighborhoods like Pontiac. We look forward to seeing Webster Community Center serve its neighborhood for years to come!   Learn more about Webster here: https://lnkd.in/et_dPpUp

I was thrilled to have the National Trust Community Investment Corporation and NT Solar teams join me in my home state of Arizona last week for our spring SPIRIT retreat! 🌵☀️ As always, it was wonderful to get to spend quality time together in person recentering ourselves as individuals and as a team. And while much of our retreat was focused on reminding ourselves of our commitment to Sustainability and Purpose, we were also able to spend time as a group relaxing and having fun (mechanical bull riding at the rodeo included)! I'm thankful to lead a group that's so committed to working hard towards our shared purpose and to playing hard and enjoying our time together when we get it. Thank you also to our amazing hosts at CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa and to our tour guide and friends at Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation's Taliesin West for taking our retreat to the next level!

  • Electric Works generated extensive community benefits by creating thousands of jobs during construction and more than 1,500 permanent jobs upon completion. The project’s mix of commercial tenants, including the Do It Best headquarters, strengthens the local economy through job creation and the attraction of additional businesses to the area.  The campus also expanded essential community services, including a primary care clinic serving 15,000 patients annually and a STEAM high school preparing over 300 low‑income students for future careers. In addition, new space for local farmers’ markets will help grow small vendors and increase access to fresh, local food. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/e9Dt5mbt
