The first #NikonTour stop of 2026 was a memorable one! 📷🐾 Earlier this month, Nikon Ambassador Tamara Lackey hosted over 270 attendees at the BEAUTIFUL TOGETHER Animal Sanctuary in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. At this 83-acre animal sanctuary, attendees photographed and filmed at-risk rescue animals while learning how to work with natural light, compose thoughtful shots, and capture authentic moments that tell compelling visual stories rooted in connection and empathy. We had sessions throughout the entire weekend that welcomed all levels of photographers and filmmakers where they had the chance to use various NIKKOR Z lenses and Nikon mirorrless cameras, including the latest Nikon ZR. Did you know that astronauts make excellent photographers? 🧑🚀📷 The Artemis II crew captured never-before-seen imagery of the Moon and Earth throughout their 10-day mission with the Nikon D5 and Nikon Z9. "The Nikon D5 also has incredible low-light performance and remains the best high ISO performer in all Nikon digital cameras, including mirrorless. This makes it ideal for capturing photos of the Earth — even the side that’s in shadow." via PetaPixel https://lnkd.in/ecuxVhCf

Nikon Ambassador and titan! 💪 Lynsey Addario has been named to TIME's 100 Most Influential People of 2026 list as a titan. "You don’t just look at Lynsey’s photos. You feel them—as if you are there. But you don’t have to be, because she is, risking her life and making us care." - Katie Couric https://lnkd.in/eCAfa7eR

The Nikon D5 and Z9 are with the Artemis II crew capturing historic photos deep in space. 🚀✨ "The Nikon D5 also has a proven record of being resistant to the high levels of radiation constantly flying through space, which can destroy the electronics and sensors needed to make a digital camera work and which Artemis II was particularly susceptible to in the deeps of space." The journey of mirrorless cameras in space is only getting started... "Once they fully test and continue to test, the [Nikon] Z9 will be the camera going to the moon." - Nikon's Michael Corrado Story via New York Post https://lnkd.in/eqESkRAZ
