  • Complex fusion cases demand more than a one-size approach. Surgeons need materials that handle precisely, adapt to challenging anatomy, and perform where it matters most. 🌟 MTF Biologics and Kolosis BIO have launched DBX® Fiber — a new addition to the DBX family developed for musculoskeletal defects. ✔ Fiber structure for improved handling and placement ✔ Conforms to complex defects ✔ Built on the trusted DBX processing surgeons rely on This is about giving surgeons more control in the moments that matter most. 🔗 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/edQNEXGs #Orthopedics #SpineSurgery #SurgicalInnovation

  • April is National Donate Life Month. 💚💙 This year’s theme, Leave a Legacy, is a reminder that donation creates lasting impact across generations. Throughout the month, we’ll honor donors, celebrate recipients, and share stories that show the power of this gift. Today, we’re recognizing National Donate Life Living Donor Day and the incredible generosity of living and birth tissue donors, including Samantha Reed, whose story is featured on our Donate Life page. • >90% fusion in high-risk patients isn’t theoretical. It’s been demonstrated. Verified by published clinical outcomes, Trinity ELITE® demonstrates consistent performance where it matters most. Real-world data, including the Lansford study, report >90% fusion in high-risk patients and complex multi-level procedures across lumbar, cervical, and foot & ankle applications—using stringent fusion criteria. As a third-generation cellular bone allograft, Trinity ELITE® combines an osteoconductive scaffold, verified osteoinductive potential, and viable osteogenic cells in a single solution designed to support bone healing. When surgeons need a clinically supported alternative to autograft, they turn to solutions backed by evidence. • Soft tissue reconstruction does not allow for guesswork. Clinicians rely on aseptically processed allografts designed to preserve the biological properties that support wound repair and integration. That commitment to science and stewardship shows up in products like: 🔹 AlloPatch® Pliable – an allograft dermal matrix offering flexible, conforming soft tissue support 🔹 AmnioBand® Membrane – an allograft placental matrix used as a protective covering across surgical applications Both are processed with rigorous safety and sterility standards, because donated tissue demands discipline at every step. When outcomes matter, trust matters. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/enuFEgkR

  • On World Down Syndrome Day, we celebrate individuals like Naomi. Born with Down syndrome, knee instability once threatened her love of baseball. Thanks to the generous gifts of two donors, she underwent bilateral patellar tendon reconstruction and reclaimed her independence. Today, she’s back on the field — running, jumping, and playing the game she loves. Her story is a reminder that donation changes lives. • If you or someone you love has a procedure coming up, you may hear the word “allograft.” An allograft is donated human tissue such as bone, ligament, cartilage, tendon, skin, or placental tissue that is transplanted from one person to another understanding-allografts. Each year in the United States, doctors use more than three million allografts to help patients. It’s natural to have questions about where donated tissue comes from and how it is screened. We created a simple guide physicians can share to help patients and families better understand what allografts are and the role they may play in treatment. • Complex reconstruction demands more than technical precision - it requires strategic judgement. Join leading reconstructive surgeons as they share decision frameworks for managing challenging defects while preserving function and aesthetic outcomes. Join us for an upcoming surgeon-led webinar designed for surgeons involved in complex reconstruction, limb preservation, and advanced wound management. Discussion topics include: 🔹 One stage or two? How to stop second-guessing yourself on complex defects 🔹 Why we added MTF meshed dermal matrix to our forearm flap workflow — and what changed 🔹 The cases where staging saved the limb — and the ones where it cost us time 🔹 No good flap options: what to do when your first choice is off the table 🔹 What the biology is actually telling us — and how it should change your timing 🔹 Catching the moment before you need a bigger flap — and how to act on it 🔹 Cases we got wrong: honest lessons from reconstructive failures 🔹 The MTF meshed dermal matrix cases we weren't sure would work — and what happened Registration Link: https://lnkd.in/ehZyaZdj #PlasticSurgery #ReconstructiveSurgery #SoftTissueReconstruction #WoundCare #SurgicalEducation
