This year’s discussions focused on Europe’s role in the global economic realignment and its evolving relationships with other regions, highlighting the increasing need for coordinated, cross-border advisory in a shifting international landscape. During the program, Jack Millhouse presented on trusts and patrimonial structuring for internationally mobile individuals, offering practical perspectives for navigating multi-jurisdictional complexity. Our marketing team headed to sunny Palm Springs last week for the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) Summit and came back with lots of ideas that directly impact how we serve our clients. As board member of the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Inter-American Chapter, Ricardo Aramburo Williams, International Tax Principal and Global Markets Leader, represented Mowery & Schoenfeld at the Chamber's Annual Conference and Good Neighbor Awards in Washington, DC. The conference offered timely insights on the current state of the U.S.-Mexico economic relationship, highlighting examples of joint development across key regions such as Nuevo Leon and Aguascalientes, led by their respective economic ministers, Betsabé (Betsy) Rocha Nieto and Esau Garza de Vega. Discussions also addressed priority opportunities and challenges, particularly the ongoing evolution of the USMCA framework. This year's Good Neighbor Awards, held at the emblematic headquarters of the Organization of American States, recognized outstanding leadership across the private and public sectors influencing the bilateral relationship, as well as the impactful contributions of past and present ambassadors. Honorees included Gov. Tere Jiménez, Amb. Christopher Landau, Amb. Esteban Pérez Moctezuma, and Amb. Earl Anthony Wayne. We thank the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce and its Inter-American Chapter Executive Director, Estela Cachoua, for their ongoing efforts in advancing the relationship between the United States and Mexico.

A huge thank you to the Colegio Nacional de Correduría Pública Mexicana and the Colegio de Corredores Públicos del Estado de Jalisco for inviting Ricardo Aramburo Williams, International Tax Principal and Global Markets Leader, to participate in the commemorative event marking 500 years of the Correduría Pública as an institution at the service of commercial transactions in Mexico, held at the iconic Museo Nacional de Antropología in Mexico City. The event highlighted the historical role of Corredores Públicos over five centuries as key enablers of trade and providers of certainty, while also reflecting on how their function continues to evolve, embracing technology and modern legal frameworks to support the future of commerce. Our Firm remains committed to strengthening the deep commercial ties between Mexico and the United States and values the opportunity to collaborate with Corredores Públicos in furthering that objective. #InternationalTax
