Identify it, own it, conquer it. Pretending a trigger doesn't exist does not promote growth. In fact, it creates the opposite effect. It's essential to understand what triggers you, why, and address it head-on. Acknowledging it won't make it go away, but it will make it easier to control.

"What triggers you?" isn't nearly as important a question as, "Why does your trigger trigger you?"; it often forces us to reflect and think about where each trigger stems from. Only then can we fully understand our steps forward. But make no mistake: triggers are seldom random.
