  • Thank you to everyone who connected with Moody’s at ACAMS The Assembly Australasia in Sydney. Across two days of discussion, one theme came through clearly: as financial crime risks grow more complex, organizations need stronger governance, better intelligence, and more connected approaches to compliance. From regulatory reform and fraud to the evolving role of AI in oversight, it was valuable to exchange perspectives with compliance and risk leaders from across the region. Great to see Qing Liu join the panel on governance and oversight in Australasia, contributing to an important conversation on how institutions can strengthen decision-making and respond more effectively to emerging risk. We appreciate the thoughtful conversations at our booth and throughout the event, and look forward to continuing the dialogue with the industry. Visit us here to learn more: https://mdy.link/4u4Xvxp

Great to be at the Gartner CSO & Sales Leader Conference last week, with the Moody's team out in full force. A big thank you to everyone who joined sessions with Noah Berliner and Ben Holloway, both of whom sparked thoughtful discussions on how organizations are navigating risk, growth, and changing customer expectations. It was just as valuable to continue those conversations at our booth. From data strategy to risk management and optimization, the themes were clear: teams are looking for connected insights and practical ways to act on them. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to share challenges, ideas, and priorities. If we didn’t get a chance to connect, we’d still love to continue the conversation.

  • A clear divide is emerging in the #banking sector. Leading institutions are treating decision-making capability as a strategic priority, underpinned by sustained investment in technology and data improvement. As outlined in recent Moody’s research, leading banks recognize that trusted data foundations are required to scale #AI analytics and capabilities across the enterprise, rather than limiting them to individual workflows that have historically operated in silos. • Strong fundamentals aren’t enough to win in today’s #banking environment.  The real differentiator is how quickly and consistently institutions turn insight into action. At #MoodysSummit, one message stood out: leading banks are embedding connected intelligence directly into their workflows to reduce friction, enhance decision-making, and deliver results at scale.    This approach is helping to close the gap between insight and impact, enabling faster responses to market shifts and greater operational resilience.    Read more on how banks are transforming execution into a competitive advantage: https://lnkd.in/emrC7cka   #ConnectedIntelligence #DataDriven #FinancialServices

  • David Hamilton recently spoke with Bloomberg about the growing role of distressed exchanges across credit markets and what that trend signals for investors. “These are not trivial odds for a market in which distressed exchanges now account for the majority of all credit events,” For more on how Moody’s is supporting private credit with sector‑level risk signals and forward‑looking analysis, visit: https://mdy.link/43wbcKU #CreditRisk #DistressedDebt #PrivateCredit
