Miami-Dade Transit recorded a historic ridership surge last Saturday as fans packed Metrorail and Metrobus for Inter Miami CF's inaugural game at Nu Stadium: ✅ 2,000+ fans took Metrorail & Metrobus to the game ✅ 16%+ systemwide Metrorail ridership increase ✅ +170% riders @ MIA Metrorail station vs April 2025 daily avg. ✅ +11% ridership on Metrobus Route 37 “What excites me most [is] the thousands of first-time riders who experienced our system and discovered how it can work for them,” said Stacy L. It's Miami Climate Week, and #OurCounty partnered with the Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida to host a forest cleanup at Camp Little House. Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and volunteers worked together to remove debris and plant native flowers to restore and protect our local ecosystem. Miami-Dade Environment

South Dade commuters now have a new way to move! Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, the Board of County Commissioners, and the Miami-Dade County DTPW held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Metro Express, #OurCounty's first-ever Bus Rapid Transit System. This all-electric service is the longest in the country and will provide a reliable transit connection from Florida City to Dadeland South Metrorail Station. 

#OurCounty is making dreams come true! Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins, Esq., and Miami-Dade Housing and Community Development were joined by community partners and residents to honor two families who achieved homeownership through the successful Dream Homes initiative.

There's a new facility coming to #OurCounty! Mayor Daniella Levine Cava partnered with PortMiami, Miami International Airport, and public officials to break ground for the Future-Ready Perishables Facility. This new addition will reduce spoilage and inspection delays and enhance protection against pests and diseases that may threaten U.S. agriculture.
